Food very good and generous portions. Staff friendly but lost star because service was slow.

Only place open in Cockermouth the night we needed to eat and luckily we found this place. Just got in between the early evening rush and food service shut down (quite early but I think Cockermouth is like Brigadoon...asleep most of the time!) Pub is good but I wouldn't recommend the town!
