The experience was too bad. Because of their behavior. That, s not good.People are here, not to buy only food. They want good behavior as well.If someone orders £20 pounds curry,it doesn't mean they don,t deserve respect?.Learn how to treat people and then go for business.

Nice meal, nice staff but expensive for what you get portion wise. For example, the samosa starter is two very small samosas with salad for 6 pounds. No kids menu either. For 2 adults and child was around £70 all together.Kid-friendliness: Doesn't seem kid friendly. No kids menu but my son enjoyed the meal we did get him.

Food was swimming in grease, huge chunks of raw garlic in everything, keema naan and tarka daal were bland. Tandoori chicken was passable, but the whole meal was disappointing. My partner last ate here a year ago, during his last trip to the Lakes, and couldn't believe how poor the quality of the food is now.The staff were pleasant and the food was ready on time for collection.

Absolutely fantastic meal. Can't fault any part of the evening as everything was perfect.

Had the worst food poisoning of my life! Vomiting for two days!! My friend also had the same. Food wasn't great at all, think its the worst curry I've ever had. The plates were greasy and dirty. The hygiene levels are horrendous! Terrible!

If I could leave 0 ratings I would. My husband and I walked in with our 1 year old who was asleep. They tried to seat us near 4 men that were being very loud and drinking so I requested if we could sit elsewhere as they had only one table. The short bald man that claims to be the owner, said ?customers can?t choose where to sit? in a very passive aggressive manner, I thought I heard wrong and said sorry ? He responded ?yes you sit where I seat you?.I explained our child is asleep the men that are being very loud and would wake her up. So he did move us. Upon moving us, he didn?t come and ask if we want drink, we had to call him over. He took my husbands order and walked away, we then called him back for my drink order. We had to call him back after a long while to place our starters.I did say to him I found his tone quiterude as we dine out several times a month and we?ve never had anyone saying we can?t choose where to sit. He said he ?doesn?t care, this is how he runs his restaurant. Quite frankly if we didn?t have a long journey with a child, we would not have ate in but that was our only halal option.

Shocking customer service ? main guy very passive aggressive. The restaurant was empty we got sat by the door which was quite cold asked to move to the corner that wasnt booked he refused in a controlling manner you are two you WILL sit here remember the restaurant has no other customers? I said I don?t think so don?t like your attitude we are Leaving . His answer was fine bye!!!! And that is why your restaurant is empty! Will not return!!!!

Generally I don?t write bad reviews but this restaurant deserve it.My recent encounter at the Spice Club proved to be a disappointment on multiple fronts. While the cuisine, though lacking authenticity, manages to be tolerable from a distance, the real letdown comes from the service, coupled with a disconcerting behavior exhibited by the staff.Diverging from the standard restaurant experience, at this restaurant customers bear the responsibility of initiating the welcome, need present the entire order upfront, including items like papadum, nothing will be served till whole order is provided, all while being restricted from making on-the-fly additions. Any attempt to include something spontaneously is treated as a new request, subjecting patrons to an inconvenient 30-minute wait.Adding to the frustration is the staff's behavior, which is not only disappointing but unsettling. Instead of the customary warm welcome, patrons find themselves in the peculiar position of having to initiate the welcome for the staff. This unprofessional dynamic adds an uncomfortable layer to the overall dining experience, emphasizing a lack of customer-centric approach. The Spice Club, with its inauthentic cuisine, cumbersome service model, and concerning staff behavior, falls short of providing the enjoyable and inviting dining environment that patrons typically seek.

Firstly, I generally do not give negative feedback but the service & attitude of the staff at restaurant made me to write this review about very bad experience.Staff think that they are superior and asked us to order everything one go. We went for the 1st time and wasn't sure about taste. When we want to order more staff was arguing and said that it will take 1hr to get the dish. For tourists, I will suggest to go to any other near Indian restaurant as we want to relax after day of travel rather than following the rules dictated by the person at the counter.Let me just say,This isn?t Indian food. This is food cooked with Asian spices. Some dishes was ok, some was very disappointing.Important:The manager I felt didn?t take care of us.One waiter was helpful.Won?t be going back.(I have given ONE star as its mandatory to select else I would vote -negative stars so that no other tourists to get inconvenience)

Delicious, as ever. We prefer to dine in as the atmosphere is great, staff are wonderful and it's a family favourite.Vegetarian options: Vegetable Dansak is a firm favourite. Most dishes have a vegetarian option.Dietary restrictions: We let them know our requirements and they advise what is a straightforward yes and ask the chef if it's possible to adapt others. Never in over a decade have we had a problem.Parking: Plenty of disc zone parking on all streets for 1hr up to 6pm, but plenty of car parks locally.Kid-friendliness: All the family is welcome.
