I use Oakhurst to return parcels but twice now I have lugged all my parcels into the store to be told they can?t take them as they don?t have any envelopes for the return label. Extremely annoying as the staff are always really pleasant and try their hardest but clearly the Management are too incompetent to ensure they have a sufficient stock of envelopes. I tried to contact you directly to complain but none of the phone numbers work and I couldn?t find an email address.

I arrived after a long hard day at work at 8:26 to be told they?ve stopped serving, even though there was a couple at the counter waiting for drinks, not wanting to make a scene I left and I googled the Cockermouth opening times and to my surprise they don?t stop serving until 8:30 PM, why me being there 4 minutes before closing means no service? Absolutely no idea. Appalling!

Visited late evening at the end of Jan to see customers sat in store! Visited again early afternoon start of March to witness no protection screen at their drive through, no social distance measures being adhered to and staff either not wearing masks at all or wearing masks pulled down to their chins! I have reported to Starbucks & Local Health Authority!

I really do not know why this starbucks has got such a bad rep. It is far cleaner and nicer than the ones back home. The staff seemed nice and catered to my little ones well. A nice unhealthy treat to begin a long drive back from a wonderful stay in the lakes.

Over priced, and not all staff but sadly their is some members of staff there, that really need to brush up on their people skills and manners ? but thankfully their not all like that, there is 2 or 3 members of staff that are very polite friendly, and seem they cant do enough to help, nothing is to much regardless of how busy the garage might be at the time.

We visited here for a couple of coffees. I had to wait quite a while to receive my order but the staff were busy with a seemingly endless drive through queue. The premises were disgusting. The floor was filthy and although seating was socially distanced, no tables were wiped down between customers whilst we were in there. The ladies' toilet was beyond disgusting. Dirty toilet seat, blocked toilet, filthy, wet floor. We couldn't wait to leave. In the current climate, with Covid posing such a massive health risk, this place really needs some serious deep cleaning. We won't be returning!

Disgustingly dirty. Tables not wiped down. The cloth seats were covered in old food and stains. Floor not swept. I can?t believe this is still being allowed to trade in these Covid times.

Wipe your feet on the way out. What with covid going about , extra cleaning should be in order. The place was empty yet we had to choose the least food infested , crumb covered , soiled seating there was. No, please , I insist you have your conversation before you serve us. It's important you iron out your plans for the weekend.

Disgusting , filthy , food on the floor , virtually empty but most tables with empty cups , crumbs etc . Only positive was the coffee , this place is going to the dogs.

Absolutely terrible service. Not very clean, awful service if you're eating/drinking in as all the staff concentrate on the drive through and you wait for ages while the car queue goes down. I got a 5 cheese toastie ( whole, uncut) and asked for a knife to be able to cut it in half. No knife available, I was offered a fork or a spoon......really???? With a hot melted cheese toastie? A wooden one would do nicely if there is a policy of no knives in case someone uses a real one to stab you. Most knives are pretty blunt anyway in places like this so doubt it's an issue but in Cockermouth????? Anyway bottom line is unless you're really desperate don't bother. Or try the drive through and wait until your toastie is cold and then you can just munch it whole.

A well stocked and sizeable Spar store located at a busy Esso petrol station just outside of Cockermouth.
Managed by Eurogarages.
It's a handy place to visit for that late night shop for something you've forgotten!
The staff are all friendly and helpful.
Fuel is a bit on the expensive side as there is no competition in the town.
