We had a wonderful 3 course meal yesterday evening. The food was absolutely delicious and probably the best we have had in Cockermouth to date. We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Fika and hope to return again in the future. Our waiter was attentive but not intrusive and having heard we were celebrating our anniversary discounted a bottle of wine which was very much appreciated.

Just had the most wonderful 3 course evening meal at Fika. Had to pre book and pre order which we did yesterday evening. The food is by far the best in Cockermouth. This hidden secret gem gor evening meals is well worth a visit and we will definitely be going back. The staff were attentive to the extent that they overheard us telling other guests that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary and gave us a complementary bottle of wine which was very much appreciated . Can't recommend thos place highly enough.

We went as a group of 10. We couldn't all sit together as they were busy, they were very accommodating of us moving tables a few times as we slowly migrated to bigger and bigger tables. The food and coffee were lovely. Absolutely worth a visit!

Always loved Fika ?.. did not want to make a fuss so other half swapped his plate with mine but he said the same?.. the mushrooms on soda bread I has ordered not pleasant due to far, far to much garlic which just left an awful unpleasant taste in mouth? we quietly mentioned it to the gent at counter when we went to pay?. He said nothing just asked for the payment?. Also please bring back the great table service Fika use to offer? sorry but it was an awful loaded with far, far to much garlic and it?s now several hours later and having cleaned teeth twice and drank the taste is still in my mouth?.
Hope this is a one off as Fika on previous visits has been great

I love this place. It has great food and always a nice atmosphere. I wish it were a little bigger as half the time I've visited it's been a wait for a table/seat.

Such a gem of a spot! This Swedish-themed café is full of heart, and the two staff running the place were nothing short of incredible?smiling, calm, and doing their absolute best to keep everyone served, even while juggling everything themselves. The spicy hash was absolutely unforgettable?full of flavour and perfectly balanced. Coffee was top quality, and the fresh handmade juices were a lovely touch?bright, refreshing, and clearly made with care. A cosy, welcoming brunch stop that feels like a little slice of Scandinavia. Can?t wait to return.

Fantastic food for an evening meal. I had the Steak which was amazing, blue cheese sauce on the side was gorgeous.
Husband had the chicken which was also fabulous. Good choice in music for a relaxed dining experience.
