My car developed a serious fault with the brakes and couldn't be driven. I had to leave it at Derwent Mills Garage to be fixed, when they had time between their booked customers. I was delighted to receive a phone call the very next day to say, due to a cancellation, they had fixed my car! I've always been pleased with their servicing and MOT work but today they went above and beyond what I was expecting. Definitely a 5 star garage and I highly recommend them.

We have gone to Andy and Barrie more or less since they opened. The service you get is excellent, bills are fair and never inflated. They go out of the way to help one man businesses, we personally saw this when my sons van engine let go. And to top it all to really decent individuals. Carry on with the great work

I have serviced my car with Derwent mills in the past and they have been excellent. More recently they have gone above and beyond to help me in my time of need. This week my car engine completely went and Derwent went the extra mile to get me all the information I needed to go direct to manufacturer for a warranty claim. They advised me every step of the way and took the time to help me in the very stressful situation. I will be using them on the future and would recommend them to everyone. Thanks for the help!

My family and I have used Derwent Mills for a number of years and they have always provided excellent service. Recently, my car required roadside assistance whilst in Edinburgh. I was able to phone Derwent Mills and they provided the reassurance that they were more than happy to accept my car for emergency repair if my roadside assistance were to recover the vehicle and tow it down to Cockermouth. They were very helpful phoning me to keep me updated when my car arrived and were also able to repair the car, replacing the clutch, in a very short time (despite it being a busy period for them). A reflection of their excellent service was how helpful they were in arranging for me to collect my car because I would not have been back from Edinburgh before they closed for the weekend. I would recommend Derwent Mills for both routine and emergency work.

The guys and Andrea at Derwent Mills are just brilliant. I've just had a full service and knew it might sting a bit because of the 2018 car's history (or lack of!) but I trust them implicitly to be honest, ultra helpful, know exactly what they're doing and keep it as reasonable as is practical - especially in this current climate. I've been going there since I moved back up here 7 years ago. Can't speak highly enough of them and their standards of work and excellent customer service and care. I have been a customer at Derwent Mills for a few years, they are always very friendly and helpful. My car developed an intermittent fault causing it to reduce power and illuminate the dreaded check engine light. Through diagnostics Andrew and his team quickly identified the fault, replacing a sensor and tracking down and repairing faulty wires in the wiring harness. Car is now back to good working order. Fantastic service yet again from all at Derwent Mills garage. Andrew, Barry and all involved always put the customer first and will go that extra mile to assist whenever they can. Car had broken down whilst 300 miles away, so arranged delivery to Derwent Mills via the AA. Despite them having a full workload they diagnosed the problem (even before we had arrived home!), obtained the necessary parts and worked extra hours to get me back on the road all within 72 hours. We feel very fortunate to have this excellent garage within the area and have recommended a number of friends to use them. Thanks again and we highly recommend your service to all.
