Ordered fruit scone & tea. Sadly scone was cold, asked to be warmed up but was still dry and to us, stale. Service was good, staff friendly, tea good.

Very nice toast sandwiches. We had tuna and ham with cheese with mushroom soup. They have a jacket potato with a big variety of toppings.
Sitting outside is quite nice with a quiet road on the weekdays.
Clean toilet and both indoor and outdoor have about 4-5 tables.

My wife & I stopped here after a strenuous walk over the hills from Grange Over Sands. We both had a jacket potato with cheese & beans. We agreed it was the best we had ever had. Unfortunately, we were so full we didn't have room for one of the delicious looking scones. Would definitely recommend.

Staff were rude, the soup of the day said it came with crusty roll on the menu and when we queried this we were told it was extra.
Sausage was undercooked. Not impressed
