Our third visit to this beautiful pub, the food is excellent, real 'pub food' which you don't tend to find very often these days. Highly recommend the sticky toffee pudding. The owners are very welcoming, even with our 'spirited' children. The building is lovely with many original features retained. Certainly our 'go to'...

Went on a wet Saturday afternoon for lunch. We were the only ones in there. Had a lovely lunch and great pint of Timmy Taylor's golden best

From The Swan Inn
The Swan Inn is a 16th century coaching inn, situated on the A683, between Sedbergh and Kirkby Lonsdale.
At The Swan Inn, we are a traditional country inn with original olde world charm and log fires, nestled not far from the River Lune at the foot of the Middleton Fells.
We always have a choice of cask ales. We also have a large beer garden with children's' play equipment. Dogs are welcome.
Traditional Cumbrian home-cooked food at The Swan is available in the bar area, a separate restaurant or in our beer garden.
