The lovely couple let me hang out whilst my friends did the third of the three peaks. Lovely little place. Also the gingerbread is delicious.

We popped into The Old Hill Inn for a quick break before hiking our final hill ? Ingleborough ? and it was just what we needed. The lady who greeted us was so kind and welcoming, and we enjoyed a proper cup of tea before heading back out. Cosy, friendly, and the perfect pit stop to rest your legs and recharge. Would definitely recommend to fellow walkers in the area!

A lovely site for a campervan stopover. Brilliant location for Ingleborough and Whernside. Flat pitches, great views, electric. The pub isn't always open, and it wasn't on a Tues night in late March, but I went in to pay for the pitch and I know I'm going back when it is! And I'm not hanging about as the lovely landlady is talking about retirement.

A historic Inn at the heart of the Yorkshire Dales welcoming local, day walkers and hikers or outdoor enthusiasts of any kind with wide open arms.
If you come down from Whernside or Ingleborough wet and cold on a winter's day; the warm open fire-place will warm you up.
If you are thirsty and tired in summer; enjoy a drink with the most stunning view of Ingleborough.
If you are doing the Y3P challenge or simply after a cosy week-end walking in the Yorkshire Dales off-season the Old Hill Inn has cosy en-suite rooms above the pub; modern and comfortable glamping pods and some hard-standing pitches with electric hook-up for your camper van or motor-home.
Ideally situated between Whernside and Ingleborough; the views on the fells is second to none.
The opening hours out of season may vary, so call ahead to check opening. The same goes for booking accommodation and camping as it is direct booking by phone or email.
We stopped by on a snowy afternoon in January and felt blessed to find the Inn open. A group of people using the nearby field for sledging pre-arranged for the Inn to be open that afternoon.
This is one of those genuine and down to earth family run businesses that we find less and less of.
Run by the same couple for years; the true spirit of hospitality is there. For example; the owner will rather lose half a barrel of real ale as it is on the turn than sell stale beer. The food is all home-made with high-quality products. There are a couple of intimate tables by the fire place as well as a larger table to accomodate groups sharing some time to wind down after enjoying the outdoors.

Thank you for making my 3 Peak Challenge weekend away so special!
I stayed in one of the camping pods, everything was spotless and equipped with a shower, kettle, fridge.
Beanies cooking was so welcome after a day on the peaks, she made me vegan meals from scratch - AMAZING!
Highly recommend.

Fantastic, family run, quirky old Inn. The food is absolutely delicious, the room was very traditional and comfortable. Great location with easy access to the moors and a fun drive from the motorway!

Historic inn serving a couple of local ales. Lovely people behind the bar. Ran by the same lady for years. Offers camping and van stop overs for a fee. Recommended to pop in for one. ? ? ??
