Very very busy. We arrived at 5pm on a Friday and it was a 30/40 minutes wait for the order. We went and came back around 6pm and now it was 1 hour wait. Not their fault, but too much of a wait. Price ok, but they charge for ketchup, spoons, forks etc.They do have a place where you can wait while having a drink- coffee, tea, soft drinks and so on

Ate there yesterday, fantastic fish n chips, sat upstairs after ordering and had a drink while waiting for our order cooking. Hadn?t been there before but will definitely be going back on our visit to Holgates at silverdale.

Delicious and worth the drive! We drove over and we weren?t disappointed! A little wait for freshly cooked fish and chips for the whole family. We will be back!

Favourite chippy in Lancashire, we usually sit in but take away is great on a nice day too.
Update: no longer has inside seating. The queueing and order collection system is very well organized. Same great food on offer.

Fantastic fish , chips and mushy peas. Best I've had in a long time. We will 100% go back next time we are in the area. Good ordering system as well, order inside then queue outside, a screen tells you that your order is cooking then shows your ticket number when it's ready. Very busy but the whole place runs like clockwork and is immaculately clean. I asked about ingredients because of allergies (dairy and egg) and received the answer straight away, everyone knows what they are doing. Well done everyone. Definitely worth waiting for.

Well after watching baldie foodie guy on YouTube eating the fish and chips had to try when up at Morecambe on holiday. 3 fish large chips curry sauce and peas absolutely amazing fresh fish and very meaty best I?ve had in a long time.
