Paid extra for early check-in but had to wait till it was ready. Extremely hot rooms , did ask for an extra fan but it never arrived. Clean room. Not too noisy considering the location.

Amazing caring staff, always polite. Manager is spot on, always has time for a chat. I think Josh & Sukina on a night time are amazing. Always polite, a real credit to the company.

Overpriced for what you get, needs some work to keep it in good order, the wifi should be available without the £3.50 charge given the cost of the place, no AC in the rooms, staff were pleasant which is the only positive..

My Mum and I were treated like family by the amazing team lead by Page: Michelle, Josh, Josh and the rest.
Breakfast was excellent in terms of choice, quality. Cooking and value. I didn?t eat dinner there but Josh looked after us for drinks in the evening and the bar is pretty well stocked. Location is brilliant for local restaurants and shopping. If I need to return to Carlisle I would definitely stay there again.

Hotel is very central so perfect for shops & bars etc.
Rooms are big, with big windows, but hot & curtains don't keep the light or heat out so rooms are super bright early in the morning & difficult to get back to sleep.
Thinking I wad being clever, I bought a sleep eye mask for the 2nd night, only to be woken at 5.30am by the glass collecting lorry!! This didn't just wake us up but had us jumping out of our skin - it was so loud!! I wouldn't recommend staying here in the summer as the rooms are too light & too hot & 1 fan provided just isn't enough. The customer service from the staff was great & nothing was too much trouble.

Iv stayed here a number of times for work, Iv held back for leaving a review cause its been ok . However my stay this week, from Monday to this morning, has left me with multiple bites on my back and arm which have appeared each night Iv slept in the bed , yep. Bed bugs?.. ?
Sort it out travel lodge, basic flipping hygiene. I?ll be making sure I stay else where in future.
Also my grip from A previous stay is the food,
The company I work for very kindly bought me a dinner there one night, for £15 odd quid I was given a microwave burger and chips but had to buy a drink, they charged me £3.50 for a multipack can of Pepsi
