I use this store regularly when travelling north or south on the M6. I'd much rather pay their prices than the motorway service stations. The store itself is great and again, non typical motorway prices!
Well worth the 5 min detour off the M6.

If I could give ten stars I would! After a huge meltdown from my autistic son, the wonderful patience and kindness of your staff helped turn a potentially disastrous shopping trip into a really lovely experience. Huge shout-out to Jonathan on tills, give that man a raise!!

Staff have very disinterested attitude & difficult to explain the simplest things include duty manager & staff not adearing to dress code all in all very poor experience unlike sainsburys where they are helpful staff & store contact number (without going through call centre taking about 25 minutes)

Unhelpful staff watching me struggle with my trolley, the dates on all food are terrible only 2 days.. used self scan they unpacked it all to security check but didn't help me put it back, young women struggling to lift stuff and they didn't even bat an eye lid

I wanted to fill my car up whilst in a rush to get to work in Kendall, and all 4 members of staff were just inside the shop talking to one
Another, not acknowledging me waiting for the authorisation of my
Pump. I at first thought it could be a malfunction so I reversed back towards the other one, and it had the same message. I then had to go in to ask why this was happening and I feel like I interrupted their conversation with the way they responded. She said I wasn?t patient and she had authorised it and I had put the pump back to early, although this has never happened and should never happen. Very annoying experience.

Racists. I went to the counter to get change from 10 pound note because I needed a single pound coin for parking later. I queue up with a can of coffee so I can break up the note to get the change. There are 3 white women at the till and 2 customers in front of me. I see one of the women behind the till look at me, she then goes over to the other 2 women and they whisper something among themselves and then all 3 look at me. I?m already feeling rattled. I wait in the queue until the other 2 customers are served. Then comes my turn. I ask for a pound, but they give me change and not a single pound in my hand. I ask them if they can break up the note to get a pound and they all then exchange glances at one another, they say no we can?t and then continue to watch me until I leave the store. This kind of behavior only happened because I?m Asian. And in a Tesco of all places.

Petrol station- just got fuel from the filling station. It took the 2 members of staff an eternity to authorise the pump. Too busy chatting and one of them appeared to be busy with her phone. Poor service

Shop is far too small for the area & foot traffic, its always too busy and narrow isles. Large carts with staff for people that buy online are everywhere, making it seem even smaller and they appear to think because they're staff they have the right to push in or force you out the way with their carts. As a local I really hate shopping at this tesco, there are far bigger & better Tescos in smaller towns. Disappointing for a city store.
