We usually stay at Premier Inn when we travel and I can honestly say that this is the worst so far. I thought that they had been remodelled however this was left behind in 1980. The lady on reception didnt even bother to greet us in fact her words were you do know that check in is 3pm? We were forced to stay here due to the storm and as it was 1:30 we just wanted to leave our luggage so that we could look around town until the room was available.She was so miserable and everything seemed to be a hassle to her. This clearly wasn?t Tracy that so many reviews had mentioned previously.
The whole place needs completely redecorated and refurbished. It is dirty and the cleaners need to be managed better. The restaurant next door is just as dirty and old furniture everywhere needs replaced.
Overall a really disappointing experience never again.

Desperately needs renovation and a proper clean....furniture battered and outdated, vent not fixed to wall, cobwebs in corners, no bedside tables or plugs near the bed, bathroom very worn and outdated, tv cannot be viewed from bed...I've stayed at premier inns for work and pleasure for many many years and have to say over the past 3 or 4 years the standard has declined dramatically.

Very comfy bed and seating. Well laid out. Pleasant welcome at the reception by the nice lady natasha. Only thing I would say is missing is a coat peg. Beautiful place to stay.

I stayed in this hotel at the weekend & I was extremely disappointed in the standard of the room. I was greeted by Tracey on Reception who was lovely & helpful however the room cleanliness was next to none & smelt of dampness. Also the light in the bathroom was not working which left me to wonder how housekeeping could clean the room without a light when I struggled to clean my teeth. I have stayed at this hotel on a few occasions but definitely won?t be back

Was in good location, staff good,room looks like original 80s. Dusty,mouldy in bathroom, old fashioned wardrobes, paint missing, and razor blade under bed settee. We use premiere inn most of the time and have no problems so not my usual review of them. My wife did email the company a couple of weeks ago but as of yet no reply. It certainly hasn't put us off them because we know that usually fine.

Me and my brother used this hotel as a stop to do the North coast 500 up in Scotland. Me and my brother enjoyed our stay here being greeted by Tracey upon arrival. She was really friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming to us after our long drive up here. Also the reception was really well kept and the teas and coffees milks etc were tidily put on the front desk on a small stand. Which I felt was a very good idea and definitely something that could be implemented at all premier inns for customer ease

We were driving from London up to Edinburgh and needed a place to stay along the way at very late notice, the receptionist Natasha was absolutely brilliant, she was so helpful in finding a room for us and couldn?t be more friendly and really cared, 5* you are a credit to the hotel

DO NOT STAY HERE. If you value cleanliness and sleep don?t stay here. Hotel is run down, with tatty rooms, bad smells, mould and bacteria film in the bathrooms, hair in the bath tub, and dirty carpet. The staff are nice but ultimately it means very little. For lack of a better word it?s disgusting. Not up to par for Prem, simply the worst one I?ve ever been to. It doesn?t deserve a 3 star rating. Also the room temperature is set to 23 degrees with the thermostat doing precisely nothing to change that. Do yourself a favour, spend the extra money and go to the one up the road. This ?hotel? should be demolished.
