Very much like the pets at home in Carlisle as they are a lot bigger than the one we have in workington and we are now in the future going to shop for our 6 dogs at this branch and we will have a lot more to buy and get in a few days

Overall has good products, but needs to sort out their opening times. This branch and the Workington branch both have incorrectly listed opening times on Google as of time of writing. This branch shuts at 7:30pm according to Google, 7:30 according to the automated phone line, and 7:00 in reality.
The Workington branch shuts at 8pm according to Google, but they shut at 6pm in reality.
Make sure to ignore the Google listing and go by what the website says.

Great customer service and very friendly but bought a Guinea pig / rabbit 120 size cage but the water bottle that comes with it is really bad quality and won?t stop dripping

Honestly the best pet store in Carlisle. Every time I go in the staff are super knowledgeable and helpful. Faye always helps us with things for our cat and hamster, a couple of years ago we had to change the cats diet when you stopped supplying a particular type of food. We've had a few hamsters from you (as they don't live long).
Tonight I took my son and his friend in for an entomology educations session. With Ellis, who taught them tonnes about all the resident insects, mantises, frogs and arachnids.
He showed them how to feed their newest spider. Told them loads about how they web. Went into the difference between crickets, grasshoppers and locusts, their life cycle, larva.
Then he let them feed a frog each, and hold a snake each, all the whilst filling them with information about lives, growth, shedding.
He's an absolute fount of knowledge and was amazing with the boys many many questions.
Whilst you have staff as amazing as these 2, and the rest, everyone is helpful I just haven't dealt with everyone on a personal level, I'll never go to another store.

Young lady on till,died red hair...you need to work on customer skills...my order may have only been a small order but it pays your wage...if i see you again on the till i will take my cash to another member..or just head to dumfries...have some respect for your elders

Ordered online. No queue to pick up. Large shop well laid out, clean and friendly. Was picking up a cat carry case, excellent value for money. Plenty parking space outside store.

I love pets at home. Great atmosphere. Multiple staff asked if I was okay and needed help. Adopted 2 guinea pigs on Saturday and left feeling very happy

Didn't have the item we wanted in stock.
Member of staff told us they had the product we wanted in stock for a dog. We had enquired for a rabbit. Not helpful!!!.
