I have visited a few times now and find the service excellent. The food is amazing and the menu changes regularly. I can sometimes be a fussy eater but I have tried various meals here which I wouldn't generally even look twice at. I definitely recommend if you want a high quality tasty meal.

Just returned from a wonderful meal at this hotel. First time but certainly will not be the last. The food was excellent, with the guinea fowl and salmon very tasty. Service was good, not rushed to get through your meal. A great experience.

Recently moved to the area and thought we'd try the Marchbank for dinner. Had a really lovely evening. Expertly cooked and presented local food, great ambience and staff. Definitely worth a visit and we will be back.

What a fabulous place. Owners Richard and Claire will bend over backwards to make your stay special. Rooms are immaculately clean, grounds are beautifully kept. Richard is an amazing chef and their menu changes based on what is locally available. It?s an amazing spot to either unplug and unwind or set up for hunting and fishing. March Bank will definitely be on our must stay list if we are ever in the area again!

Our stay at the March Bank hotel was outstanding, the hospitality we received from Richard his wife and son Harrington was without a doubt the best more than we could have ever imagined, Richard was so tentative bringing us a cooler for the wine we had brought as he saw us with it , the food Richard cooked and Harrington served was delicious , the presentation of the food was to extremely high the choices of food on the menu was very nice something a little different on offer too . We stayed in the Bothy which Harrington built himself which he should be very proud of it is beautiful with an outdoor seating area, the decoration and furnishings are to a very high standard and self catering if required . The Hotel itself is without a doubt beautifully decorated with a lovely lounge and bar area to socialise. Richard told us a bit of history of the area and gave us directions to a beautiful church and river walk. We are looking forward to a return visit. Thank You so much for a lovely stay
