Rooms: Basic only showers no baths. Not very clean .. floors need a good wipe very dusty my socks got filthy !
Safety: No card needed to enter ground floor or lifts so safety is not paramount here.
Food and drinks: OK. Food have to pay for water. No tomatoes on breakfast.
Noteworthy details: Noisy lift can hear the mechanism from the room . And music from the bar.

Less than 5 minutes from train station. 3pm check in, the charge £2 per bag to hold them if you arrive early and want to be bag free.
Staff friendly. Foyer was nice, plenty seating, bar (open 24/7) and pool table.
We booked breakfast £12 p/p, was very nice with plenty of options, plenty of other places to eat locally if you want.
Room was basic but comfortable. We had a hair dryer, fan and kettle in room but no iron or board (went a got this from reception), no safe, fridge or tv remote in room.
Bathroom is a cubicle, no lock on door, be sure you are comfortable with you partner.
Bed was comfy, extra pillows in cupboard.
Rooms: Basic, cubicle style bathroom, fan, kettle and hairdryer. No iron or board, tv remote, safe or fridge.
Nearby activities: Plenty of pubs, food and great night life.
Safety: No safe in room or lock on bathroom. Streets safe at night plenty of door staff and police.
Walkability: Very central everything withing 10 minutes.
Food and drinks: 24/7 bar and food available. Great drink prices.

Very pleasant everytime. The hotel is so convenient to walk to railway station, shops, castle, cafes, bars n clubs.
Rooms: Good sized rooms and lovely big showers. Basic but clean, TV, hairdryer, tea n coffee etc.
Nearby activities: Lots to see and do with a lovely shopping centre. Plenty of cafes and bars some with live music. A nice old castle to visit. Old fire station has great bands on (mostly tribute) but great atmosphere for any age group. A popular bar/club playing 60s/70s/80s music and 2 Wetherspoons n other pubs all next to or very near to hotel. The hotel itself is very quiet and pleasant. We sleep well in their large comfy beds and everywhere is very clean with everything we need.
Walkability: Short walking distance to railway station, shops, pubs and clubs. All within just afew minutes.

One night stay on way south, good central location, easily accessible, good nights sleep and a decent breakfast in the morning, just what was wanted.

Disgusting place to stay. One member of staff totally rude no customer experience whatsoever. Room not clean hallways disgusting . Only clean part was the toilet. Give this hotel a wide berth . Reception is nearly non existent someone sitting on a stool in front of a laptop at a small table not smartly dressed. Hostel would be better than this awful place

A good stay as usual. We stayed midweek so it was quiet at it can be noisy on the weekend due to the location of clubs and bars nearby. However, TVs were not working in all rooms due to a problem. A technician was due to arrive the day we were leaving.
Nearby activities: Great bars, cinemas, railway station and city centre nearby.

Booked as we needed somewhere to stay on the way back from Scotland where we could also take our dog.
Staff were really friendly, room was clean and noise was minimal. Also parking is included so it was great to be able to stay right near the M6 and park right behind the hotel.
We stayed on a Friday night and our room faced out onto the street so I was worried it would be too noisy but we could not really hear anything. The window blocks most noise but there is a second screen installed as well to block further noise.
Will definitely be using again.
It?s a budget hotel so don?t expect anything fancy, but it was what we needed: clean, affordable, dog friendly, near the M6, no frills.
Edit: I forgot to add, had we had any issues the staff made me feel as if we could approach them and get them resolved.
