Absolutely disgraceful company, how they are able to continue conduct their "business" is beyond comprehension. Never return calls, never organise tradesman when first contacted, literally have to chase for months to get anything done! Houses not fit to live in, arguments to get any repairs done, denials over state of the property, rooms black with mould and damp.Barbara is very unprofessional both over the phone and via emails. Had to Involve environmental health and seek legal advice over their conduct. Should be throughly ashamed of themselves

Very unprofessional agent phoned about a house and i had to chase them. Viewed the house she was meant to contact us to pay the deposit the next day ive left various messages with no contact back. No wonder the house hasnt been tented out for months because she doesnt chase people up i feel it for the landlord having a house sitting for so long. AVOID agency good for nothing.

Barbara and the team where brilliant with me during my entire tenancy. If there was ever a problem they were quick to chase it up and get it resolved. Would highly recommend renting through Homes Cumbria.

Avoid this agency! They are useless and don't give a monkeys about the tenants. I rented for 6 months and it was the worst property I have rented, from the day I moved in it had problems and I had originally raised the issues before hand, well once you sign the contract they have you. I found myself fixing the odd things in the property, like the door lock and window handles as these weren't even closing properly! They backed up the landlord all the way and never put any of my issues first, then once I was out of the property they tried to get more money out of me from my deposit even though the final rent had been paid! When ever I tried to discuss the matter further they just didn't want to know, well Barbara didn't anyway, she's 50 faced and the worst manager of a company I have ever dealt with as there was no communication from her what so ever once I moved out!They are sneaky and careless, I am glad to be out of that property and to be done with this lot, I am going to raise this further as I am appalled at how I have been treated.

In the last 25 years of renting privately I can honestly say that Barbara and her team have been one of the best agents to deal with. Nothing is too much trouble and they prioritise the needs of both the tenant and the landlord. Regular house inspections give the tenant an opportunity to raise concerns and all issues were dealt with promptly and always when it was convenient for us. Barbara and team have always been professional, honest and fair and after our recent move into a home of our own we received our full deposit back without any issues. What an absolute pleasure to deal with in the last couple of years. Thank you for everything. :)
