Gosh what an awful experience. Paid £35 for an eye test, got my lens made up elsewhere due to the extortionate price D&D were going to charge. I couldn't see through them when made up. D&D checked the prescription, all OK. Retested, advised the optician which had now left had test me three times too strong in one eye! Not a wonder I couldn't see. Then top it off after testing me incorrectly apparently it was my duty to stand the charge of a replacement lens?! I will not be back. I'm absolutely gutted as I have used this opticians for years. The business has sadly been sold and the standards are no where near the same.

Such a relaxed friendly experience from start to finish, everything done during my eye test was explained and the help choosing my frames was not rushed time was taken to find the right frames within my budget. I would highly recommend D&D McWilliams for both adults and children.

No problems, friendly and attentive staff, whole experience was perfect, I know I am in safe hands, luckily my prescription hadn?t changed therefore no new glasses required, bonus!!! Even straightened my glasses after they were bent a little. Would definitely recommend

This opticians provides excellent service. The eye tests are completed effectively, with comprehensive and simple explanation if necessary. Customer care is friendly and supportive provided by great staff.

Had an eye infection, rang the opticians, was seen within the hour, sorted to return the next day for check up, further appointment in 7days . As always the service from this business is beyond 1st class. Thanks to all the wonderful staff at D&D McWilliams Opticians.Patrick Cody.

Fabulous professional and personal service.Appointments are very thorough and each process is clearly explained. I would not go anywhere else for my eye examination appointments. A wonderful selection of glasses and contact lenses. Great staff and service.
