Absolutely terrible quality on everything. Visiting B&Q was a complete waste of an afternoon. Ended up coming out with nothing as nothing was worth buying for any amount of money and I just wanted to leave I was so disgusted. Lamps with NON-replaceable bulbs, toilet seats that felt like they?d bend if an 8 stone girl sat on them, no Dulux mixed paints anymore, the new Valspar paint would have come out in different shades for a tester and a big pot (the point??), one shrivelled parsley plant was £4, and a low grade GMO sitka import wooden dowel was £10 (really not worth losing all the ash trees for). We?re getting taken for mugs here in the UK, stuff isn?t so expensive or so naff in other countries. The staff were friendly though.

Went to b q Carlisle just as I have done for many years But this time was different the attitude of till staff was not the best. came across as aggressive (tills not working) not customers fault. never been spoken to in this manner. be a long time before I go back.wicks from now on.

Great place to find households bit and bobs plus the gardens selections are well stocked. Members get discount now and then. Great customer service staff named AGA helped us through the tills with our goods.

After this very cold weather snap and minus 7 nights our garden tap pipe developed a leak with water gushing everywhere. We went to b and q to purchase all the bits?? To replace it. A store person called Brian saw us struggling to find the relevant pieces as the selection was mind boggling. He approached us, listened to us and helped us find what we needed. He was amazing and I'm very very grateful. We went home and my husband was able to do the job successfully. So a big thankyou to Brian, B and Q Carlisle.

Amazing service from MATTHEW! Accidentally ordered the wrong Christmas ? tree . I called into the store expecting a long painful hassle but miraculously MATTHEW answered the phone. He immediately sorted my problem!
I?m American and have been so unhappy with typical UK customer service which I hate to say is awful..but Matthew was incredible!!!

Passive aggressive lady on tills last night in Carlisle. Insisted that it was self service only until I left my items and walked out. Then, all.of a sudden she could bring herself to do somerhing. No thanks, too late now, I'll go elsewhere.this time and won't ever shop in B and Q again.

Had our kitchen designed with B&Q Carlisle. Customer Services at its best, Maureen and Sandra were so friendly. Our dog was allowed too and they even put him on the final kitchen plan. Nothing was too much trouble for them to amend or change. Any items that you don't use, you can return (which you can't do at Wren). Thw 3D image was great to see how your kitchen looked. Thanks again. We will be back for our bathroom without a doubt.?????

Best B&Q I have ever been to. The staff is incredible! Extremely friendly and welcoming as well as knowledgeable. I have visited countless of times in the last few months as I am renovating my entire house and was able to find everything there. On the few occasions where certain items are not carried by B&Q the staff was able to advise alternative shops. I also purchased a kitchen and bathroom there, the planning team was professional and attentive, perfect management of both projects. The kitchen is installed and looks fantastic, bathroom yet to come. The local contractors they use were also fantastic.
