April last year had some tests. The results got back to the doctors within a couple of weeks. Several visits back to every surgery in Carlisle, seen a dozen different doctors and NOT one of them actually read the results. Not until Wednesday this week. I was shocked and so was the doctor because nobody had read what the consultant had recommended. So now I am on some drugs to try to clear this issue nearly 9 months later. Its shocking service, This group is far too big and just dont give a hoot. They are making it more and more difficult to speak to anyone or to get appointments and the ridiculously long message when you try to call is clearly that long so people hang up. What the heck has happened to this practice group? Oh and another gripe, I had to give a sample and was told I could drop it in to any of the surgery's. So I went to my local at Arnside house an hour or so ago and was told, I cant hand the sample in here today because we are doing some clinic or other. Take it to Eastern Way. How ridiculous is it that you cant drop off a sample at your doctors because they are holding some clinic or other. That has to be the most ridiculous procedure on this earth. Would love to meet the fool that came up with that rule.
