Called for a cup of tea and a piece of cake after a very soggy walk. Service was very good considering there were 16 of us.

I worked in the best sandwich bar in Cheltenham, and this was the best bacon butty I ever ate. The bacon was a beautiful local natural cure, and nearly as thick as a pub gammon. Egg was local, perfectly done, and the bun was fresh. Worth the tiny detour from the hadrian's wall path.

Great effort can be seen to be made by the volunteers of this community cafe. Friendly service and nice cakes etc. I'll definitely pop in on a ride out and introduce my mates here.Great stop for coffee and cake, thanks.

Had an amazing lunch here with my wife the other month. The card payment didn't go through, and we didn't realise until we were 15 miles in on hardains Walk. I rang and told them and sent payment via PayPal. The food was amazing, and I can't wait to return.

Lovely tea room in the village hall in Walton. Popped in for a cuppa and cake after walking Hadrians Wall. Lovely peaceful setting. Nice food.

Friendly staff, nice community atmosphere, spacious cafe. Comfy sofa seating available, and good tea, coffee and cakes. There is also savoury food available like sandwiches and soup, but we didn't try these as we visited for afternoon tea.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free cakes available.

Great place to stop when hiking Hadrians wall - just a short diversion from the trail and you?ll really enjoy the lunch offerings as well as the cakes and pastries!

This is a lovely little tea room we stumbled across en route to our holiday home. The food was really tasty, with a good selection of sandwiches, specials and homemade sweet treats. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and we were given a few ideas for trips out in the local area. We'll be paying the another visit before we head home. Prices reasonable too!

A wonderful community gem. A place where you're welcome to go and connect with others. Whilst there you could be tempted by a range of foods and sweet treats. The bacon and sausage sandwiches were popular with the hardcore folk in lycra who'd earned there reward on two wheels. I saw a couple of scones make there way to the tables, I must give them a go next time.Today I opted for millionaires shortbread and Earl Grey tea. There's a meal deal on Thrifty Thursday and a full roast on a Sunday. A number of community groups meet here, and there's a Knit & Natter where squares are made for charity blankets. The customers, staff, and owner were all chatty and welcoming. There are good toilet facilities too, always an essential when out and about in the countryside. If you have little people there's a wonderful playground area and green next-door. The part time post office is hosted in the building too.You can also purchase locally produced honey and Marmalade. There was a photography exhibition and works of art displayed for sale.
