Visited on holiday after looking at the reviews we were hopeful of a nice visit.
Unfortunately the tea room is average at best.
Food average we had a tuna cheese melt panini with hardly any cheese . Coleslaw tasted shop bought and dry .
Made it worse that there was a woman sat outside where we were eating smoking a cigarette and you could smell it. Not great and tbh very disrespectful.

I took my disabled mother here for lunch with my 2YO daughter too. I just want to say a massive thank you to all the staff, they were so friendly, polite and so helpful. Helping my mam with her mobility scooter on the uneven ground, he even said he's going to buy mats so next time this won't be a problem! I'm sorry I didn't catch anyone's names. Every person we spoke to was so kind and polite and played along with my daughter too. Nothing was too much trouble. Coffee was amazing and the food was delicious, all fresh ingredients and cooked right there and then. Can't wait to come back. Thank you!

Great venue with lovely staff with sensible prices and dog friendly. Good for children as well all food is made to order hence small delay in service to table as you would expect. Plenty of car parking and has outside seating as well

I got a Valentines dipping box delivered to my door... and wow it was amazing, I got so much for the price and it's probably one of the best blondies and brownies I've had in a long time! Can't wait to visit the cafe to try everything else!

After a walk round Talkin Tarn we called here for delicious homemade soup and baguette and cake. Friendly atmosphere, good service and great value. Would definitely call again.

Had afternoon tea on the 31st sept for my twin grandchildren?s 18 th ,the food was lovely ,everything fresh and presented on slate stands ,staff made us feel so welcome ,and nothing was to much trouble for them ,an absolute credit to you Nicola ,highly recommend the tearoom ,look forward to our next visit
