I took my disabled mother here for lunch with my 2YO daughter too. I just want to say a massive thank you to all the staff, they were so friendly, polite and so helpful. Helping my mam with her mobility scooter on the uneven ground, he even said he's going to buy mats so next time this won't be a problem! I'm sorry I didn't catch anyone's names. Every person we spoke to was so kind and polite and played along with my daughter too. Nothing was too much trouble. Coffee was amazing and the food was delicious, all fresh ingredients and cooked right there and then. Can't wait to come back. Thank you!

A lovely place with a wonderful view of the tarn. Good coffee and cakes. It can be busy on a nice warm day.

Lovely spot to pick up an ice cream and coffee to take after a stroll around the tarn. Would be brilliant if they reopened upstairs in future for a fuller cafe experience. Staff are very friendly.

Came here after walking our dog round the tarn. This place is dig friendly and even serves dog icecream. The service is friendly and so quick. Our coffee and teacakes were served hot and delicious. A lovely place which we enjoy visiting.

Good choice, good food just not a lot of room if it rains.

After the Golden one, blessed of the eight fold path made the pilgrimage around the tarn. A pleasant walk indeed.
The Urizen decided a spot of refreshment was called for. Fruit cake was decided upon with the mandatory cup of tea. But no where the exalted could sit. All seats taken by the fowl followers of the the corpse emperor and their offspring.
An uncomfortable position was chosen as to consume our delights.
The servitors whom gave us our nourishment had been throughly mind blanked with no trace of lingering human consciousness remaining.

Visited on Bank holiday Monday, with a gentleman with learning disabilities. He ordered his own food and paid for it. The staff on duty asked me if I wanted a receipt, not the person who paid. The place was busy but upstairs room not open. This is owned but the council, you would think they would have looked at more space for customers not squashed in so that most customers ate outside in the rain. I was very disappointed
