Sunday roast not very hot, pickled red cabbage made everything taste tart, chips were like bricks that could be snapped in two and kids were disappointed because they didn't get their fruitshoots with the meal

Very helpful staff. Found a place inside for 6 of us and a dog. Tasty food with smaller and more substantial dishes were available. The younger members of the group went for the mango cider which was very sweet mango flavour but not cidery as you might think

I?ve eaten here a fair few times now. The food here is always nice with good portion sizes. This time I had the new pork knuckle which was huge. Had this dish in Prague recently and this was just as tasty.
Traditional pub with nice selection of real ales.
Recommended.

Cozy little pub. Menu looked great. Ordered some chips- well as you can see by the picture that's a plate of chips -NOT!! Chips were like crusty pork rind. Dare to say I was not impressed, especially for what your paying just for chips!!

Beautiful food, we went in for breakfast after scanning the town to find something that stood out on the menu & It did!! Homemade hashbrown, local valley black pudding & sausages were amazing & slow roasted tomatoes & garlic infused mushrooms & the sourdough toast was so nice everything was just so much flavour, Will definitely be our go to for breakfast & will be trying for other food when we visit again, thank you ?

Lovely pub/restaurant great menu and very good choice if drinks, fish and chips are well worth trying.
