Absolutely loved this cafe at the bottom of the viewpoint. Delicious selection of cakes (New York cookie was our favourite) and tasty coffee. Nice outdoor seating options too surrounded by plants and trees

An amazing little cafe tucked away near the Windermere lake. We found it by accident, as it?s not really advertised as vegan/vegetarian, and we were really happy about it. They have a huge selection of vegetarian (but mostly vegan) pastries, both savoury and sweet. Their coffee was delicious. The vegan sausage roll I had there was the best one I had in Lake District. Their coffee steak pie was also great! They do not have a bathroom though, but it was all fine as there?s a public bathroom quite close to the cafe.

GREAT selection of sweet and savoury foods. Loads of gluten free and vegan things on offer.
Highly recommend the ginger bread, it was insane.

Such a random find in the middle of the forest? the tastiest pies and cakes and a great cup of coffee too. So much so that I forgave the lack of plates and oddly bendy cutlery.

Coffee is good and scones are triangular but still tasty. Make sure you walk up to the Claife viewing stations for beautiful views of the lake.

It was admittedly a bank holiday on one visit, but the organisation for coffee was poor - queue to order, queue again to collect. Fine for vegans, but no other choices for those of us who prefer a bit of variety and/or flavour.

We was passing by and popped in for a cold coffee and some lunch with the dog. They offered a wide range of plant based foods, We had the mushroom pie and vegan sausage roll and they were both very tasty. The women working was very friendly and helpful.
They also offered some dog treats and water bowls too.

Best vegan baked goods I've ever had! The selection is large so good choices. The Mocha is a winner too, not bitter at all and so so smooth. We also had the nachos and they were incredible. Also had a non stake bake and a pizza twist, really good as well.
Good atmosphere and the staff are lovely. 100% go back!
