We booked and arrived on time. Our table was on the upper floor. We ordered the slow cooked lamb hendry which was a smallish lamb shank with roasted vegetables. We felt that the roasted vegetables were undercooked and very hard the lamb shanks were well cooked but we felt that the whole dish could have been better.
Jackson's feels like a restaurant that is either punching above its weight or one that was once quite fancy, but has slipped and is coasting on former glory. Service was curt but friendly.
