It's hard to find good food and fair pricing for families but the hole in the wall fulfils all of that and more. So for families who don't want there wallets emptied by other outlets then this place is a must.

What a lovely place, it oozes character. The food looked good though we didn?t have any. They have decent alcohol free beer selection

A great traditional pub with great cask beers and friendly bar staff. The best in the area.

A cosy and historic pub with loads of character! It was built in 1612. The oldest pub in the Lake District. The Hole in t?Wall is full of charm, with its low beams, open fire, and friendly atmosphere. The food is hearty and delicious, and the drinks selection is excellent. Staff are welcoming and attentive, making you feel right at home. A perfect place to relax after exploring Windermere ? it truly feels like a hidden gem.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, quirky decor and quiet back street location away from the hustle and bustle of the main street.

Great atmosphere in an historic pub. I had a pint of Unicorn which was new to me and really quite pleasant.

This pub is a gem. The staff are all very polite and helpful, and the food is fabulous, and the beer is spot on, in my opinion, the best public house in the area thanks for a great time

Off the beaten track, this little find was just the right amount of busy. Dogs are welcome in the beer 'garden'. It is a cute little pub with excellent food, although the garlic bread was actually a garlic pizza and my daughter's nuggets and chips was not very appetising to look at but she enjoyed them. The staff we a little light on the friendliness but we still enjoyed our meals and drinks.
