Comfortable room and great hospitality! We stayed for three nights definitely recommended!

One of the most genuinely hospitable stays I?ve had. We stayed for 3 nights and were so well looked after by Symmoane and Adam who were such kind, thoughtful hosts. The room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed, and the location was perfect- easy walking distance to both Bowness and Windermere, a ton of restaurants and shops and the bus stop was just 2 minutes away making exploring the lake district without a car so easy!
Symmoane and Adam were very transparent before booking (including letting us know there wouldn?t be a cooked breakfast), but the breakfast was still hearty and delicious, the homemade compote was honestly one of the best I?ve had.
They even added some lovely touches when they found out it was my birthday, which made the stay feel extra special. A beautiful place run by wonderful people. We?ll 100% be recommending and would love to come back.

Elim bank is a short walk from the lake .&Bowness pier , As you arrive you get a warm welcome & shown into a cosy clean & tidy room , where no comfort is left out , If I was being picky it would be the single glass windows , on busy road ,but you soon adapt. Breakfast is continental, with a large variety of porridge & other cereals ,toast & croissants, plenty of variety of tea?s & coffee & juices .The Breakfast room has 3 tables . With a variety of sittings . Your stay will be made enjoyable by Adam & Symmeone who cannot do enough for you , Thank you , good luck in the future xx

Absolutely wonderful stay at the Elin Bank! Adam and Symmoane were both fantastic hosts and made us feel do welcome. The room (room 4) was well kitted out (including an ironing board, toiletries, tea and coffee making facilities and a fan). The fan was definitely much appreciated in the hot weather! Private car parking a huge plus, especially in Bowness where parking is at a premium! The continental style breakfast suited us, a wide range of cereals, granola, compotes, toast, pastries and fruit. Plenty of hot drinks and porridge available also. Location wise, this cannot be beaten - very handy for the lakes, Bowness and Windermere. Adam and Symmoane are both genuinely lovely people who made us feel at home in their home. I will be putting this on Trip Advisor also - would not hesitate to recommend the Elim Bank to anyone!

Amazing service the hosts were so friendly and welcoming. The location was fantastic with lots of places to eat and the lake about a 7-10 minute walk away. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay there again.

Our recent stay at Elim bank was absolutely delightful. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. The room was beautifully decorated, clean, and had everything we needed. The location was ideal for exploring the stunning scenery of the Lake District, with plenty of hiking trails and picturesque villages nearby. We especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast served each morning, which was the perfect way to start our day. Overall, our experience was fantastic, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a charming and relaxing getaway in the Lake District.

It's in a quiet area just a short walk from the main shopping area and night life. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was nice with comfortable beds.

The owners are very respectful and courteous. The rooms and bathroom are very clean. I was interested in the pillow, and frankly, they were comfortable and suitable pillows. The breakfast options are limited, but I recommend them. Their location is convenient, close to the lake and the services. And of course, I will repeat the visit ??

My partner and I were looking for a nice place to spend two days in the lake district, and we're both happy we chose Elim Bank Guest House. Our room was clean and comfortable, and we felt the whole house was well kept. Set just a short walk to Bowness pier and Lake Windermere, the Guest House is in a good location. Andy and Simone were both very friendly and offered good advice on places where to eat. We both felt they were great hosts who made us feel welcome. Breakfast was lovely. Not the usual full english but a continental breakfast buffet, which was a nice change. We loved the coffee, and I would definitely recommend the homemade fruit and greek yoghurt compots.

Stayed for 2 nights with my husband and 11 year old daughter in a family room.
The rooms and building were extremely clean and tidy. The bathroom suites weren't particularly modern but this in no way was an issue. When asked if we wanted to offer any suggestions for improving what was on offer, we said there wasn't anything. A clean, well presented bathroom is way more important than a more modern aesthetic.
It was incredibly quiet considering they were booked up. Didn't hear a whisper from any other guests.
My husband is a big fan of a full English breakfast but really enjoyed the more continental offerings even going as far as saying that he preferred it!
The hosts were excellent. Extremely welcoming and amenable and clearly take pride in what they do. I liked some of their systems which meant we didnt actually have to ask them any practical questions as everything was clearly labelled or provided in written instructions. That didn't mean to say we didn't get the pleasure of chatting to them during breakfast. Both really interesting and friendly people.
The carpark is a real asset for the area and they even allowed us to leave our car there for most the day after we'd checked out. Also offering to move their own if the new guests brought more cars than they were expecting.
Highly Recommended place to stay. You'll not be disappointed.
