Paid extra for my dog only to be told on arrival dogs not aloud in the bar area or restaurant. So not a dog friendly hotel whats so everand also put you in the attic room 70 stairs up.

I ordered the Carbonara which I have to say is one of the best I've had in aaaages. possibly years even. A super nice blend of savoury flavours that came together to make a simple dish exquisite. Ten out of ten!
My girlfriend said her Townhouse Burger was good! She liked the chips as they were really tasty. The portions you get here are reasonable urging on the bigger side so you'll not leave hungry depending on what you get!
We've come now with our Cockapoo who's quite boisterous but they immediately gave him water and he settled down with friendly service for all three of us: my partner, I and the pooch.
We've not stayed in the rooms and can't say much for it but we've always enjoyed ourselves here, and have done so now with the lovely service we get here!
Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for quality food with a decent atmosphere and lovely decor.

My business partner and I went for dinner on Saturday. Great service by Emily. Perfect wine recommendations from Matt (2 bottles of Rioja!). Sirloin steak was perfectly cooked (next time no salt seasoning please). Cheese board for desert was amazing.

fantastic room, very very big with probably the most comfortable bed I've ever slept it, spotlessly clean , staff very friendly and food was outstanding, bar prices are a bit pricey compared to other local establishments but good selection of drinks, parking was good for me as on a motorbike and could park right outside but car parking is around the back In a public carpark but still close enough. definitely will be staying again next time in barrow ?
Rooms: fantastic room,big clean with a great bed and shower
Safety: no lift but big wide stairs , would be difficult if you had any disabilities
Walkability: right in the centre of town with easy access to all locations
Food and drinks: food is simply lovely, drinks expensive but good selection

Can't fault the hotel. Room was comfortable and clean. Staff were brilliant helpful and friendly. We managed to park in the hotel carpark although it seems the residents if the area also use the carpark so could be a issue at busy times. Hotel is located in town.

Love this hotel love how you get your breakfast in your room and just chill. The food downstairs is lovely I recommend hot beef baguette yummy. Staff cannot fault them even the lady who helped us down with our bag sorry didn't get her name lovely
