Used to be a decent little store, Community focused. Charity collections etc you got to know the staff and could have a laugh with them. These days they can't be bothered with you either sitting playing on their phones while your waiting to be served. And the ones that aren't on their phones are gossiping to other customers/staff about other members of staff or customers that have been in. In all honesty I'd avoid this branch and go to the main tesco or an independent shop. As it would be a far better experience

I went to Tesco tonight to buy a few articles and because of my cancer I was really struggling with coughing and breathlessness. The cashier put my items through the till for me and offered to take them to my car. I would just like her to get recognition for going above and beyond the call of duty. Her name was Jo at flass Lane Tesco in Barrow in Furness. Thursday 30th March around 9.10pm. Hopefully Tesco will read this and pass this onto the lady. I can?t thank you enough.

Convenient, great location but parking very limited and congested

Family member went to this store today, couldn't hear the person on the checkout so asked repeatedly if they could speak up as they couldn't hear. When trying to leave the store they got confused on how to exit the store. When they asked a member of staff how to leave the store they said they would have to contact the police. Layout to exit the store is ridiculous, having spoke to several people they aslo stated that getting out of the store is confusing and they have asked staff for help and staff have never mentioned calling the police.Absolutely appalling behaviour from staff involved, sadly we didn't get the names as my family member is now rather shaken up and upset following the incident.
