Awarding this a 4* due to the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, decent and secure car parking, clean rooms, and a ridiculously low price ? even for the upgraded room.
What I didn?t particularly like was a window that couldn?t be opened (new regs, I understand), an overwhelming smell (and rumble) of air freshener/conditioning unit throughout (give me fresh air any day!), and only one set of towels and refreshments, when the room was being occupied by 2 people. Yes, you could ask for anything ? and we had to. I don?t mind the option of asking for the room to be serviced, if staying for more than one night, and we are more than capable of making a bed. But it would have been nice to at least have been automatically given a new day?s worth of refreshments in the room, seeing as this was one of the perks of the upgrade. Or are these things just per visit??? Little touches go a long way, and this felt very much like a business-type in/out hotel. But excellent value, nonetheless.
Ps Breakfast at the Bewrers Fayre next door was poor, and we were so glad that we didn?t ?upgrade? to the dinner option!

Five star rating based on facilities and value for money. We had a premium plus room. The main benefit was the faster wifi. The room was very clean and comfortable, though to be honest the rooms are set up for single business travellers with only one bath and hand towel, plus sweet treats. However, a quick discussion with the very helpful and pleasant staff rectified this. You can also get extra pods for the coffee machine. Parking is free just remember to enter your reg in the machine by the door. A good value breakfast is courtesy of the Brewers Fayre next door, though the vegetarian sausages and 'bacon' were not pleasant the bacon being over fake smoked and horrible texture. Same restaurant can supply evening meal, which we did not use.
The town itself is very run down (though this economic situation is not of the making of the locals, rather than by closure of the local industry) offering little choice for example in food outlets other than fast food. So a good base for an overnight stay but definitely not a holiday visit.

Great hotel in a convenient location. Only issue I have with Premier Inn is the bedding. The quilts are heavy and gets to hot.

This hotel is fabulous. The staff are what made it better than others I've stayed in. They just go above and beyond, they are polite , caring and just overall beautiful people. They go out of their way to make sure your stay is perfect. Amazing customer service. Amazing staff ?

We stayed here last night our son turned 3 and we stayed over to go to the South Lake Safari Zoo today.
We had a courtesy call on Tuesday we explained our stay and when we arrived there was a table set up in the room with pictures colouring pencils juice chocolates and a toy giraffe for our son, it was an amazing thing to do our boy was made up thank you so much for taking the time out for him we had a lovely stay would definitely recommend ??

No complaints whatsoever. Stayed for 2 nights. Staff were very friendly, receptionist greeted us so nicely and was very welcoming. Rooms were beautiful!! We had the premier plus rooms which have everything and anything you need in. Celebrated our anniversary there but it will be a stay that we will always remember - staff were very helpful and kind. Loved the extra touches they added it was very very nice and the stay itself was perfect. No issues at all, the toiletries smelt soo nice and everything worked well and was spotless. Thank you for having us!! x

We have used the premier inn at barrow multiple times and always have a good experience with friendly, helpful and welcoming staff. Huge thank you to Amy on reception for our recent stay, who went above and beyond to help me in a bit of a crisis, she was incredibly kind and understanding and I will not forget her generosity. Check in was smooth and easy, clean room, comfy beds and had decent food at the restaurant. Good location for shops and transport.

Cannot grumble. It's a Premier Inn, beds are comfy very clean. I wasn't expecting much from the brewers fayre next door but was pleasantly surprised and me and the kids all enjoyed their food. Cheap and cheerful. Staff at Premier inn were very friendly and welcoming.

Visiting family and this hotel was very near. Helpful man at reception who checked our room was ready as we were a little early to check in. The room was clean and tidy as always at a premier inn as was the comfy bed. Only ever go to a premier inn and not been disappointed yet.

Really experience. We had the quad room, 2 adults with 2 children under 5 and a baby. Room was spacious and clean, no issues at all.
Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and there was a restaurant next door, we had food on one evening and breakfast the next day, all reasonably priced and really good quality.

Again, the Premier Inn always delivers a spectacular service for an affordable price. My family stayed at this place on our holiday for 5 days.
We have no complaints. Checking in was a breeze. We were greeted with a warm welcome by the staff who quickly recognised that I was knackered and in desperate need of a ?. They made our stay even more pleasant. The room was prepared just the way we asked for it, with 3 beds for all four of us. I slept like a baby. The pillows and bedding were very soft and comfortable, and the room was spotless. Thanks to the team for a wonderful stay.
This Premier Inn is ideally located smack in the middle of the town. There are lots of places to get good food and virtually anything you need. There is a massive Tesco Extra across the street, with Asda and Aldi just up the road. Everything you can think ? of you can find within walking distance from this place.
The Inn was fully booked when we visited, couldn't tell, cause there were more than enough places to park.
