My friend john pork was very pleased with the service of the staff, the person who delivered the cake was eggcelent (get it??) and allowed pork to have a tuff 67 birthday.

We came in for breakfast on a Saturday morning. The staff were fantastic, particularly Imogen, who offered help with the menu, checked on us several times, and even was very informative about the area.

Absolutely appaling treatment of customers, when trying to make the management aware of hair in our food.
We tried to have a discussion quietly about the unhygienic behaviours of the premises. At no point did we ask for refund or recompence for the meal which could not be finished, we only advised the manager (I believe her name was Ange) to have a word with there staff. However, when we brought up our concerns the manager became extremely hostile and aggressive, stating the kitchen were bald, so It couldn't be them. When Ange finished serving us our drinks, we asked If you would like to see the plate, as she seemed to not believe us, to which she replied well I'm going to serve the other customers at the bar because there's no point me looking at it If you don't want anything. At that point we decided to take the unfinished meal to the bar to show her the dirty plate, to which she took massive exception too and said we would be unable to buy anymore drinks.
I can honestly say If this is how Hungry Horse management treats customers, they will soon be out of business.

The food was nice with only a little wait, but I feel it was very under staffed with the poor girls on shift rushing about and people waiting for quite a bit at the entrance.But the staff were all really friendly despite the conditions especially Imogen who from were I was sitting looked like she was holding the whole operation together with manager nowhere to be seen.

The food was ok but we feel a bit cheated, the Sunday offer you get a free pudding with your roast dinner, my partner didn?t know which pudding she wanted so we waited until we had finished our dinner, I went to order the pudding and I was told ?no you have to order the pudding when you order the meal so you?ll have to pay for a pudding? why couldn?t we just have the pudding? We?d already paid and what?s the difference? We have been many times and it?s average at best but I don?t think we will be back. Very disappointing
