“Outstanding customer service from a fantastic family run business. I recently acquired a 1973 Sony ST-80 Radio Tuner and required specialist help with testing it. Firstly Gary greeted me with a smile and straight away i knew i had come to a warm and friendly place. After a couple of minutes chatting with Gary, Lawrence Searle came and invited me upstairs to give the tuner a good looking over, his expertise, experience and superior knowledge in this field told him instantly whether the two wired tuner was functional and the problems it had, to which i was very grateful. After being introduced to his lovely wife Maureen i left the shop a very satified customer. I will definitely be using "Searle Audio" in the furture and i would highly recommend to others. A+”

“Lots of choice. Huge store on one level along with an equally sized car park. Easy to access. Near other retailers. Store is clean and tidy with good displays. If I was honest, I find B&Q on the pricey side but they stock the dowel our son likes so it is worth going that little bit out of our way. Staff are generally OK aside from a few unfriendlies. Lady at the checkout yesterday, Gill, was lovely. One male member of staff was less than welcoming and there was no reaction to my smile or greeting. He may have been having a bad day. The store has never been overly busy when we have visited which suits us really well.”

“Considering this store is bigger than the old Argos (Dalton Road) they seem to have more products out of stock than they used to, but when they do have it in stock, they are quick to serve you and always with a polite and friendly manner.I’m wondering if the stock issue is more a generalised problem with all Argos stores, forcing you opt for home delivery so they can charge you a kidney for it.”
