Just been to Halfords in Barrow in Furness for a new bike for our grandson. The young man who served us was excellent. His knowledge, help, advice and friendliness was very much appreciated. I have to say the prices seemed to me to be very reasonable.
I go to this branch often and the staff have always been helpful and friendly. Thank you to you all.

Great service from Halfords Barrow - I?m a premier customer and there are so many excellent offers available for members. I had an MOT earlier this year free by being a member too. Will also get my car serviced there next. Staff are so professional and very polite. They definitely know their roles and jobs - great service .

Awful sequence of events. Ordered 0.8mm stainless mig wire. I collected the box and went home. When I got home they've given me 0.6mm mild steel mig wire. I am 40 mins away from store, stock now showing as out of stock.
I tried the chat bot which said call the store, I rang the store but got through to a central office who also couldn't contact the store. Store now closed, no idea whether what I want is in stock.
Absolute Muppets and no help at all!
I guess my day off will be wasted driving around trying to buy some mig wire.

Last week Halfords Barrow assessed our car in order to fit a roof box today. They ordered their recommended parts and booked an appointment to fit it all.
Today we turned up to our scheduled appointment, dropped off the car, and several hours later we returned to discover that the parts that they recommended don?t fit our car, they don?t sell the parts that will fit our car, and the entire exercise had been a complete and utter waste of our time! ?
I cannot with good conscience recommend this store to anyone.
The staff are very sweet but technically incompetent, and I wouldn?t trust them to replace a brake light bulb (that?s another story, having spent four hours waiting for them to find a dropped screw?).

Absolutely appalling took my vehicle to have a front and rear dash cam fitted which seemed to go ok but 2 days later when cleaning car noticed the rear seat panel was not fitting, I contacted the branch (Barrow In Furness) to be informed by the Duty manager that I had signed to say all was ok but in a rude and accusing manner no investigative questions just a ?tuff? attitude. I agreed I had signed but only to confirm there was no external damage as this was the only area the lad walked around. I argued this point and was told to call in the following day to which I did. The lad who fitted this clearly knew about it as he attempted to manipulate the panel and then said ?I can?t do it the manager will contact you? Wow another example of bad customer service. I didn?t get a call and after chasing placed it into the HO customer service, they informed me that contact would be made ! I?m still waiting. The car was only purchased 6 weeks ago and being a 35k vehicle I?m to say the least a bit miffed. The supplying garage have offered to rectify but I would advise you steer clear of HALFORDS the worst customer service, workmanship and support ever.
