Had a major service on BMW 3 series. Can?t fault the place, staff were great and service was completed in good time.

Ordered a set of tyres online. Had a confirmation which stated that they would be ready for fitting the following day. Drove through for the specified time and was told they weren't there and would probably be there later that day. Had to drive home again. Phoned later that day, still no tyres, was told they will be there tomorrow morning and they would phone to let me know. No phone calls, chased up in the afternoon and was told they had been delivered. Went through for fitting, this took over an hour to do. 2 tyres. Saved appropriately 100 pounds compared to kwikfit but it took them a total of 2 days. Guy on the desk came across as arrogant and pretty unininterested. Stares at his computer screen without even saying hello whilst you're standing right in front of him. Get some people skills. Take some pride in your work. I'll be paying more for a better experience elsewhere next time..

Booked in for MOT and service today ,staff told us the guy wasn't in in so couldn't help us. No phone call, no txt no apology. Basically the staff didn't care Recently spent over £400 having brakes done on another car only to find when we got home that the engine management light was on. Had to go back to get rectified. Its a 40 minute drive each time.Will not be using again!Services: Engine repair

Had 4 new continental tyres fitted, 1 was in a shocking condition. It appeared already used as there were no signs of the manufacture coloured lines on the tread, there were several scratch marks on the side wall and it was dirty with the dirt worn off uniformly around the tread, which appears to look like it?s been used. Complained, and my claim was rejected by the tyre supplier to Halfords. Not impressed after spending almost £600.Service: Tires

I would have give 0 stars if the review would allow me! Terrible service pre arranged time slot was told to come back 2 hours later as garage weren?t ready. Then 1 hour to change a single tyre which should take no more than 15 mins! Then after a 6 hour around journey realised the tyre was actually out on inside out. Reported this to the mechanics and was told they were to busy to resolve the issue and to come back 3 hours later. I find this appalling customer service regardless of how busy as this could have been a safety issue and easily fixed in 15mins. I will not be using Halfords again for anything!Service: Tires

Really disappointed and shocked to receive a parking charge as a result of my car being at Halfords Barrow! Despite having no issues with the service on my car, as this is the second time this has happened I am unlikely to use Halfords services again in a hurry for this reason.

Went in this week February 2022 off the back of a questionable service and MOT from Nissan dealership in 2021 and my new MOT due....Halfords confirmed Nissan were pulling a fast one and trying to fleece me for unnecessary repairs and parts which included all round break pads and discs . Halfords replaced rear brake pads and fixed my slow puncture and that was all it needed. It went on to pass its MOT at another garage flying colours. So very grateful to Halfords, for being honest, I will return for future repairs knowing I can trust them.Services: Tires
