As it seems you cannot contact Dunelm by email to complain about a purchase, then I shall do so here. I bought a set of 50 gem string lights for the small cost of £5. However, there was no way that I could undo the screw on the battery case, it was far too tight and I ruined the thread of the screw attempting to undo it. Eventually the screw was drilled out so the box could be opened, when it was then found that the metal contacts for the batteries were loose and had to be held in while inserting the batteries and closing the case. So, here's the thing. I live an hour's drive from Dunelm in Barrow so I am not going to drive there to complain and get a refund/replacement for something that costs £5. But it is extremely annoying to buy such cheap shoddy goods that are not fit for purpose.

Did a click and collect order. The lady on the desk was very helpful and got a lad from the warehouse to help carry my order to my car.
The staff were very polite, friendly and helpful.

Bought several items at this store and used the lift between floors with a basket on wheels to carry goods.Staff wrapped breakable items. A pleasant experience.

The last few occasions we have visited the pausa cafe there seems to be very few staff actually working alot of the tables have been left uncleared for over an hour
