Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff spent time to make sure we had a really good understanding of what we wanted and then gave us time to look round on our own. Came away happy we had exactly what we wanted.

I agree with the other review from S Al I have also experienced the same.I?ve never done a review in my life but this is my first based on my own true experience and the worst customer service and discrimination from the manager and staff from Benson's in Barrow in Furness. I've been a long time customer of Benson's in the south and never experienced this awful experience. I had paid a deposit on an order at the Barrow store and then visited the store on a few occasions to make sure I was happy with my purchase. I had entered one day and a guy who is working there was rude never got up to help and had an attitude. I had contacted customer service about the incident and for some reason the store manager Sue had asked them that I need to come back to the store to check an item again. I didn't understand why as I have already mentioned what I wanted with customer services.Today I went back to the store as agreed with the area manager and waited 25 minutes got no thanks for waiting.I saw Sue the manager of this store who was being rude with me because I said I was not happy with the service and then she accused me of shouting which was a lie, I understood at this point what they were doing, because I complained to customer services they wanted to get revenge with me so they made a lie of me shouting. Sue then told me to leave the store? And she would call the police? Even if the police came nothing wouldHappen because no crime was committed. Is this not madness? Sue and the staff have hate towards me, this awful experience for myself and you have all discriminated me. I've never experienced this behaviour in my life.If a customer is not happy you need to be professional and defuse the situation not make it worse but clearly they wanted to make a big issue and I had faced discrimination from Sue and the staff.They clearly don't know what is service or how to treat everyone fairly. If you did you would value my custom but you didn?t instead you insulted a customer.While I was waiting, sue was speaking to a couple about their order and I heard her talking about me and that I made a complaint against the store, this is about my privacy. You have no right to fuel gossip at a workplace, clearly this is what happens in this town? Is this what you have learnt in your career?I then saw the couple starring at me so obvious! Sue was thanking them for their custom and talking to them in a polite manner complete contrast to the way I was treated. The other guy who is a staff member was with a couple and I saw how he was speaking to them in a good manner. So everyone who was white in the store got spoken to with respect and dignity and were thanked for their custom but because I'm not white I was treated in a disgusting manner why? The real reason is because I went to customer services and complained they wanted to take revenge with me when I entered the store and make up lies about me. All the staff have a big ego and arrogance which is a poor quality to have. The staff wanted to aggravate me and make problems with myself, this is hundred percent true.This store has no idea of great service and need to learn how to respect humans after all it's the customers who are paying!Now I know personally why so many people don't come to this store.As a human I have been discriminated and the body language of the staff was pure hatred and disrespect. The way you all have treated me and other customers it will only come back to you. God is witness and God knows about your lies and sicking behaviour, and how you treat people. I've made sure all my family and friends are aware of this awful experience and the discrimination I faced with the staff at Barrow.I had asked for my refund and then Sue said speak to customer services? So why did you insist customer services and your area manager for me to visit the store again? Not to apologise only to degrade me and make up some lies in your favour. Well the lord knows who is right and wrong. Truth will always prevail.

This is based on my true experience entering the store in Barrow in Furness, I am local to the area and have been to this store on a few occasions trying to find something for my family the manager and staff never approached me like I didn?t enter the store. The staff are too busy having social chats you should close the store down because there is no customer service. This store is quite big but it seems like the staff don't care or want business. Worst store of Benson's for beds.The Public pay for goods and yet we don't get service or respect how did you work that out? Even customer services didn't bother this company is fake.I have found a better company who cares and respects customers which is priority to me.

No communication with delivery service ! Just said the date ! You were supposed to give me a time slot at least 3 days before . Tried customer service and could not even get through to them ! Ended up phoning my local branch , not a good start

Fantastic experience, Sue made the choosing process easy and comfortable and made sure i knew everything that i needed for chosing my preferred bed. She also made sure i knew about the extensive offers available to help the purchase go smoothly. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for an upgrade at a higher expense but with finance plan and 0% Interest its easy to get lost in choice.

The people in the shop were first rate and the lads that delivered the bed were good but a little more care with the making of the beds
