Would have given no stars but not possible. 2nd time I?ve been to collect an order and the store has been closed due to a technical issue! According to website store is open as no update put on!! Not good enough!!

Whats happened to this store? It was dark black walls and very unwelcoming. Nothing on display and just screens to purchase. Looks so soleless. Could not wait to get out. A little pride on the shop floor goes a long way. Even the staff looked miserable. Come on argos you can do better.

Attempted to make a return today as the product was faulty and wasn?t how it should of been and was also rusty , upon attempting to return the item I was met by the manager who was very rude and then refused the item as it wasn?t in a resellable condition due to the rust ?. It would not of rusted in the 2 days we had the product but yet she still refused ? I have now had to go through my bank for a refund on the faulty product

Absolutely horrible experience! I bought a sim card and paid £20 upfront for a package. I get back home to realize that, to activate the sim, I need to pay again.
I contacted the store several times, and was met with a cold response. When I contacted the sim company, they said we did not sell you this, you need to speak to argos to be compensated.
I go again to Argos to return it, the lady tells me that she can?t refund me because I have used it and the packaging is opened. I tried to explain to her that I could not have found out that this sim did not work until I inserted it in my phone. And till the end of conversation I was told that it was my mistake. I don?t understand why they mislead me into getting the package worth £20 when I could have come home and activated it myself for £20 and not £40!

refused to accept my return of a phone because I had opened the box. I was not told this box could not be opened, and even though I brought in the original seals the staff member threw them in the bin. He also told me they break the rules all the time but they wouldn't do it for an expensive phone (It was £400). Bottom line is, i was not told that opening the box would mean they would refuse a return. Staff members will lie to you!

what a fekin shop that is took back faulty heater refused to give refund have now reported it to there head office they quite clearly are unaware of the faulty goods act I will he going back with heater as o now deem it unfit fir purpose

Considering this store is bigger than the old Argos (Dalton Road) they seem to have more products out of stock than they used to, but when they do have it in stock, they are quick to serve you and always with a polite and friendly manner.I?m wondering if the stock issue is more a generalised problem with all Argos stores, forcing you opt for home delivery so they can charge you a kidney for it.

I would just like to to thank Grace that served us today regarding a bike we bought for our sons birthday that was faulty.
I would just like to say how grateful we are for you going above and beyond to try and sort the bike for him and how much you tried to get him his bike for birthday tomorrow. Unfortunately have to wait until Saturday but I feel you need needed recognition for your customer care that you shown us today.
