Oh wow! The food was amazing, we got 2 of the stew with dauphinoise potatoes in a huge Yorkie, my daughter got a chicken burger, fresh chicken breast, it was huge, the food was delicious, hearty and good value for what it was, the dog enjoyed his sausage as well, the staff were lovely girls, great atmosphere

Cushion Burger is the best burger I have had for years. Meat was perfectly cooked, bun was perfectly toasted so was crisp while staying soft and light, the cheese was amazing and the chips were crispy while fluffy. Amazing service as well we had a wonderful experience would highly recommend

My family and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Crown & Cushion Inn, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. This charming establishment delivered exactly what you?d hope for from a quality pub restaurant.
The star of our meal was undoubtedly the fish and chips - absolutely amazing and cooked to perfection. The fish was flaky and fresh with a golden, crispy batter that had just the right amount of crunch. The chips were equally impressive, perfectly seasoned and with that ideal balance of fluffy interior and crispy exterior that?s so hard to achieve.
We also tried the burger, which was another standout dish. The patty was juicy and flavorful, cooked exactly as requested, and served with fresh accompaniments that complemented rather than overwhelmed the main event. It?s clear the kitchen takes pride in their craft.
What really rounded out the experience was the decent, attentive staff who made us feel welcome throughout our visit. They were professional without being intrusive, and you could tell they genuinely cared about ensuring we had a good time.

Didn't stay at the inn, but ate at the wonderful restaurant downstairs. Prices were great, portions were generous, food was delicious.
The option of having your main meal served in a big Yorkshire Pudding is a whole bunch of fun- I very much enjoyed it!

Flies unfortunately ruined our meal, they wouldn't leave us alone. The fish and chips had fish most likely bought from a supermarket and the chicken stroganoff had mushrooms most likely out of a jar. The chicken was past its best too. Generally unpleasant experience all round. Staff are attentive at least.
