Stopped for breakfast and opted for poached eggs and bacon on toast. Arrived quickly and I have to say was the best I?ve had in a long time.
Service is excellent and staff very friendly.
Definitely on my list now

Stopped on the way back from hiking in the lakes for a coffee and a cake. The brownies are the best I have ever had! They totally changed my opinion of brownies as normally they are too dense for me but these were amazing. Also the coffee was exceptional and the owner was lovely to talk to. Will visit again when I do the next Wainwright.

Fantastic little cafe on the eastbound A66 (can only access via the eastbound carriageway)

So much better than the crowded, cramped service station down the road.
