Why oh why does it take at least, if you are lucky, 35 or often more minutes to get prescription. It's a small shop serving a large community and drugs need to be kept in stock, prescriptions made up and on shelf ready for collection. A simple job made so difficult by the three people behind the scenes.

Wish I could be positive, but often (OFTEN!) don?t have drugs in stock, I nearly always have to come back another day, say I?m not in their system after 20 years going there, can never get my name right, take forever, need about 5 days notice, though the staff are always delightful.

Must be THE worst pharmacy in the uk. NEVER has anything in stock you want nor does it ever have important repeat prescriptions ready on time, staff are incompetent and communication is awful.

Violet was extremely helpful today, she advised me on the best way to build up my elderly parents after them having covid and not being able to eat and recommended Fortisips which I had never heard of. Thank you Violet ?

Absolute joke of a place. When going into collect a prescription from my local pharmacy I was told my prescription was elsewhere. I have Crohn?s disease and was told to contact Lloyd?s pharmacy. So I went home to contact our local Lloyd?s pharmacy, no nothing there but a very kind lady told me to ring 111 for an emergency prescription. Had nothing like that offered to me when I said to the pharmacist so what do I do now?! At that moment in time she just told me there was nothing they could do I went onto say say so I would prehaps end up in hospital?! Not bothered at all. So was left very vunerable and I did say they were a joke. This lady is clearly in the wrong job her customer service is clearly shambolic.I?ve now been told to use another pharmacy in the future. Absolute shambles of a place. So then had to pay £9.35 for 6 tablets to last me until I can speak to a doctor to ask why my prescription was sent to Lloyd?s direct without signing upto it.

When to boots today in appleby queued for half an hour,short staffed, disorganised only to be told that my prescription was back at home the woman who worked in the pharmacy said she did have the phone number to ring for it to be sent through,I said oh it's really urgent its for diabetes can you ring for me ? She replied no I'm to busy I will never use this pharmacy again due to rubbish customer service

This is one of the worst Pharmacies I have been to, shame on you Boots! The previous private owner ran rings around you!You gave an IOU for antibiotics, and on the date we should have received the remainder, you told us to go back to our GP (Saturday) as you did not have it. This is not the first time hence the rating.

Seems very disorganised. There is always a long queue and when you eventually get to the front, there is invariably some problem. They are often out of stock of even basic items like LFT test kits and common antibiotics. I've taken to using online delivery services wherever possible.

Customer service to the public is disgusting, need to get training in customer service, and need to make sure that the prescriptions are correct and staff should be on the shop floor greeting the customers instaed of being stood in the back chatting all the time.

No competition, so understaffed & needing management decisions. Pleasant young assistant, but on her own to deal with everything [prescriptions, advice, medication issues etc.] Consequently, not unusual for the queue to be very slow and out on to the street ... whatever the weather.

Really helpful. I needed a prescription very urgently and rang to ask when it would be ready. I got fixed up with a text message service which was very helpful and very quickly I was informed that it was ready. I did have to wait when I got to the shop but under the circumstances this is entirely understandable and it was less than 5 mins, so no problem. Thanks to the lady who got this all sorted for me.

Always seems very unorganised, and apart from two staff members the rest of them are stern and rather unfriendly. Medication frequently get mixed up or dispensed wrongly, and takes ages to get it done. They seem to have outgrown the place in desperate need of some Customer Service training!!!
