Our second time staying here. Our four night stay was the last week of November and the house was decorated for Christmas which was a lovely touch. The welcome package is extremely generous, catering for our four legged companion as well as ourselves.The cottage had everything you'd need for a stay all we brought was food and drink. Very well equipped kitchen as well as games, books and walking magazines to read.The location is ideal to start walks from. We didn't need the car all well. Bus services in the area are frequent and reliable, although the last bus was around 7pm at this time of year.Near the end of our stay, the boiler stopped working meaning no heating or hot water. I called the owner who talked me through how to reset the boiler and fix the problem quickly. Excellent service.The cottage is approximately ten minutes walk from local shops, mini supermarket, pharmacy, pubs and restaurants.
