Spent a short break in Alston and called in the shop, the size of which was very deceiving from the outside. It is far bigger than expected with a great variety of clothing, gift items, maps etc

I love this shop! Always a friendly welcome and they manage to fit a great range of stuff into quite a small store. Good value prices as well! They also do a nice gift range, including great scented candles.

I brought a coat, took it away but found it was a tad too tight. I returned it unsure of their policy but they couldn't have been more helpful and they phoned me when my size came in. Classy establishment.

A great shop with all you need and reasonable prices but helpful knowledge and advice. Very friendly staff - got a great pair of boots there. Recommend a visit if nearby rather than going to mountain warehouse.
