We only called in for a Sunday roast, food was good. We can't comment on rooms or service as we didn't stay. Location good, plenty of parking and views overlooking the bay.

Wonderful stay. My husband and I stayed for 1 night and we had such a lovely time.
Yes the hotel was a little dated but the room we had was really comfy...
The food was delicious and the service was outstanding.
We will definitely return

Well, not great first visit so far! Service is poor as no one told us what the process was., though staff are friendly. We have been put in the garden room with families with dogs! Love dogs, have our own but thought we were coming out to a plush restaurant. Online booking doesn?t let you know where you?ll be so you can?t make a choice. Have asked if we can move to the restaurant which is full and told they thought we had a dog!!! No where does it ask. Have decided to stay, the food better be good?..
No Lamb Shank, liked the Skate Wing and Mussels the rest was of the food nothing special. Won?t be back.

Widemouth Manor is an absolute gem. We stayed for 2 nights and ate in the restaurant both nights.
The views are incredible, you can see for miles across the rolling landscape and the sea. It was beautiful to sit in the restaurant and look out across the vista.
Our room was lovely and spacious and opened onto a balcony with stunning views.
Jon, Jessie, Amanda and the rest of the staff were really friendly and attentive.
Can?t wait to go back ?

The review is for the restaurant. The food is really below average, under seasoned and ingredient quality is meh. All the 3 stars are for the view. Good place to come for a drink.

Location is amazing especially with the view from the restaurant. Definitely worth eating here just for the view.
Room was basic but comfortable. Could do with updating the corridor doors as some people can be noisy and leave the doors to slam.
Staff were friendly and helpful. I'd definitely stay here again.

Good point: lovely location
Points for improvement:
- Atmosphere: Quite noisy and the seats were hard and uncomfortable. They need cushions!
- Serving time: Waited for OVER AN HOUR for our food to arrive! We were all starving! We had a reservation and we were seated right away. We ordered as soon as our party was complete. We honestly should have just left.
- Food: Nothing to go back for. We had the special starter for that day, the parmesan cheese and truffle arancini which had no trace if truffle, then I had the hunters chicken for my main, which was drowned in the sauce and had a really tough chicken breast. The chips needed seasoning.

Very good food. Awesome views and kid friendly. Good little play area for the kids and staff we're very friendly.
