Can only comment on the pools as that was all I was there for I went with a large group of youngsters For a normal swim I expect the changing rooms are fine They were clean and tidy The water was warm and the area around the pool was tidy The slides were working and the youngsters had fun using them There is pay for car parking Level entrance and level to the changing rooms Cafe upstairs and an amusement arcade downstairs

Just after the lunch "rush?".... only one other family in restaurant with a noisy child...the waitress put us right next to them....so I changed tables(not like they weren't any others available)....Took ages for table service so went to bar....the miserable girl took order then tried to give me a pint of no syrup Pepsi....erm it's ran out...and still continues to pour????....jeeeez....... anyway.....the food was really nice and not too overly priced for a caravan park.

Our roast dinner was absolutely delightful. The first older lady was really helpful and good at serving us. However the young lady with flower tattoo on her arm had awful service, wasn?t busy but service was extremely slow. Took forever for her to clear our table and was too busy talking to boy behind the bar. Had to ask her twice for dessert menus and had to ask twice for a teaspoon for my two young children?s ice cream to which that point the ice cream had melted. If it wasn?t for this we would have left a huge tip considering the food was excellent!!

The roast here was really good and the First Lady that served us was really friendly and professional ( older, curly hair). However, she left and the meal went downhill from there on. The restaurant was quiet so no excuse for poor service. Not only was it painfully slow, we had to ask for our plates to be cleared after they sat there for a considerable time. We then had to wait while the table was cleared to order desserts. They brought the children?s ice cream out without spoons or wafers. On paying, I left a small tip and said to the waitress that we would have left a good tip but that the service had been incredibly slow. Sarcastically she said, oh sorry about that, then added , enjoy the rest of your day, whilst another member of staff shouted it afterwards. The boys behind the bar were really good but the two girls were really rude and lazy. One of them was on their phone and the other just sloppy and unfriendly. Had the service been the same level as the food we would recommend but definitely wouldn?t go back.

Visited the restaurant on three occasions during my stay at Pentewan sands. Once for breakfast and twice for dinner. On all three occasions the quality of food was good and portion sizes were generous however on all occasions the experience was overshadowed by extremely bad customer service, the place is obviously understaffed and as a result of this the service is extremely poor. No obvious manager is present, seems to be run by headless chickens with no experience. Some staff members clearly don't want to work there governed by the continuous dirty looks given and huff and puffs after each request. Drinks took forever to come and seemed to be just left on the side for a long time. On one occasion my husband was waiting so long he just went and collected the tray himself whilst waiters just stood talking. Such a shame as the restaurant could do so well. But was practically empty every time we arrived. If the customer service was better we would have used the restaurant a lot more during our stay.

The food was very nice, unfortunately the service disappeared after the order was taken, had to go and find someone to pay.Kid-friendliness: Located on a holiday site, very children friendlyParking: Pay and display car park for visitorsWheelchair accessibility: A loft takes you up to the restaurant

Got seated immediately and it was faurly quiet. Waitress advised she would be back to take my order but 30 minutes later I was still waiting. Gave the menu back and advised I would go elsewhere, not even an apology. Low staffed and inexperienced.

Awful, service is shocking. Run by untrained staff. No customer service, no one taking charge and the food is diabolical! Not sure how you can send out a partially cooked, cheese unmelted pizza but they managed it ? Simply avoid.

We had a large group come for dinner with the restaurant, we pre ordered all of our meals. we had a lot of issues with our food and long wait times between meals leaving some of our party without food for over 20 minutes. The staff present were very helpful and did everything they could to sort the issues. There wasn?t many staff on site and we were told that a manager was not onsite all evening and that they only had one chef and 3 servers. The staff had a really hard time providing for us and the other tables present. The staff shortage was so bad that the security guard was waiting tables to help them out. I believe the owners really need to get on top of this. Also shocked to find out that any tip you leave on card payment doesn?t go to the staff. This is horrific and needs to be addressed because they worked very hard to accommodate us.

The Seahorse has drastically changed and not for the better. Prior to covid, the food was really lovely, an excellent menu, family friendly, great gluten free options ... legendary jacket potatoes! But now, sadly in trying to turn it into an upmarket dining experience the food has gone downhill, the menu is poor, the atmosphere unwelcoming and there is no childrens menu which feels like families aren't welcome anymore. The service is slow and the staff are woefully trained on allergens. The campsite is very busy this weekend but the Seahorse at lunchtime was not, which sums it up. Covid did a lot of damage to restaurants but the Seahorse current business plan and operating model just can't be the way to keep it afloat long term. Such a shame.

Disappointed visit - we visited without booking in half term in an evening and the restaurant was empty but strangely full of reserved signs so we assume was pre-booked Staff were perturbed we hadn?t booked but found us a table with some huffing Menu isn?t what we expected for a camp site restaurant - but we were excited for the high quality sounding food with a matching high price tag so thought we had under estimated the restaurant Unfortunately not for the Mussels and Brisket specials were inedible - the quality and over cooking / left under a warmer possibly made the food unappetising and rubbery The waitress did offer to replace all the dishes which couldn?t be eaten but some of our party were fed up and didn?t want to wait for more food to be cooked Others had steaks which were well cooked and they enjoyed When we raised at the end of the night the full charges for the briskets and mussels which were returned and binned we were shocked with the response that we were offered a replacement which was refused so still had to pay for food not eaten - the waitress went away and spoke to her manager then informed us she we couldn?t see the manager as she was the manager then got incredibly defensive & rude Eventually the only compromise was she knocked off some of the drinks but made us pay for all the food or the chef wouldn?t like it We won?t return and we?re seriously disappointed with the food and service but on reflection in a totally full camp site with an empty restaurant we should of realised not to go there

Basic food. Pizza had way too much cheese on it and it was pretty bland. The lady with the curly hair was nice but we ordered two starters to come out as mains and they came out separately. This was not her fault though she did a lovely job.The coronation chicken was also swimming in mayo.
