Many years I have shopped solely In Lidl, unfortunately more and more often I have to go elsewhere, Their so called clever system will order when stocks are low ... not when there is many mixed boxes and the "system" thinks there are lots but for instance, horseradish and tartare sauce ... only tartare , system doesn't know yes you have 50 but horseradish is more popular and none left, hasn't been for months, even at Christmas time !, businesses come and clear the shelves to support their buisness but leaves Lidls loyal customers with none. The list goes on. No horseradish, no lime juice, no pusurari nann, no meatballs in tomato, there is just so many items. No raw prawns (buisness needs frozen raw not cooked)..... today by 9 am a buisness has been and taken every bread roll from the bakery, have contacted customer support and get the general questions and as usual nothing done. Get asked what store this is that doesn't help like it in bodmin too and I'm sure elsewhere. These products have been out of stock for months and months as lidl system doesn't work well. They just argue and tell its their way of keeping costs down, what when the other half of each product goes in landfill further polluting ?

On holiday in Newquay a while ago... popped in here for some sundry items, gave the ginger haired girl at the counter a five pound note in payment. She started examining it closely, then called someone else over. Then, unbelievably, she accused me of passing a forgery and held it up, saying I couldn't have it back. I snatched it from her hand, told her to keep the goods and that we wouldn't be back. We met a couple outside, who had been behind us. The man checked the note and could see nothing wrong with it (actually, I had been given it in change at the Granary cafe in the town - and that visit was a mistake, too.) Curious, I took it to my bank, Lloyds, where the staff confirmed it was perfectly genuine. It didn't bother me too much - the girl was obviously lacking in any sense (as well as personal hygeine) but someone of a more sensitive nature would have been upset, especially as we were at the front of a long queue.

Always good value for money, helpful staff and the checkout operators are always cheerful and ready for a little chat, depending how busy they are of course !!!

**PLEASE SHARE**Well @lidlgb , you have really outdone yourselves today.I walked into the Wadebridge branch, I was going about my business when an employee told me they do not allow dogs and I quote ?We don?t want everyone having dogs in here?. He also stated that my Assistance Dog was not welcome. He then called over a female security guard and she told me that I needed to leave because my Assistance Dog was not welcome. When I challenged that statement, she then proceeded to try to tell me that I needed ?papers and documentation? for my Assistance Dog, and by civil law, that is incorrect.She then began shouting at myself and my parents in front of the entire store and the man said something along the lines of ?You won?t get served anyway?. I then had a medical episode (diagnosed mental health disorder) and began screaming at everyone around me and the man almost got in my face telling me to leave. My dad had to stop them from getting any closer. In the end, my dad got me to leave and we all left. But it is safe to say that this was one of the most traumatic experiences I have had in a long time. I cannot even explain how insulted, belittled and utterly shocked I am at the way I was treated today.I?m now I?m bed struggling with PTSD attacks.My poor parents, they were so humiliated and so am I.We will be expecting a phone call from you very soon regarding todays events.@lidlgb , you really need to train your staff because I?m disgusted.

Perfectly adequate. Good selection - could have more staff on checkouts and no customer toilet as far as I can see however there are toilets opposite the carpark, outside by the camel trail

Nice local Lidl for food shopping. Free parking for one and half hours.A bit of a queue but only took 5 minutes to pay for our items. Food prices are reasonable.
