Quite a nice weatherspoons pub ?. Lovely staff, very helpful. Toilets are upstairs as always. Clean and food was good. Not too noisy too!! Would definitely visit again.

I went for breakfast and a couple of coffees. The food is outstanding value. The pub is in the heart of the city with an outdoor market just outside.

I would not recommend this weatherspoons. The staff were exceptionally rude, and while we were seated enjoying our drinks (two each), the manager approached and informed us that no further service would be provided. No explanation was given, and when we politely inquired about the reason, the manager dismissed us without a response. It is evident from other reviews that this is not an isolated incident.

Staff member was very rude and aggressive didn?t accept multiple valid forms of id that have previously worked, food was tiny and undercooked due to a slight bias from this member of staff even though we were polite, and didn?t get the refillable hot drink I payed for and didn?t get refunded

You know what you're getting at Wetherspoons. The food and drink are priced accordingly. But its location is ideal for before and after a show at HFC, so we use it and have never had a bad meal. The food service is very quick.
