Took my Samsung phone in for repair as the rear camera was damaged by my son. Took just over 2 weeks and had to be returned initially as the camera failed to launch. It cost less than Samsung wanted, and it's now working fine. Store employees were great all the way through the process.

Very impressed. I was only in Truro for a couple of days and managed to get three pairs of shoes repaired (including the ones I was wearing!). Friendly, responsive and very pleased with the result.

Took my work boots in to be resoled. Cost £70. After 2 weeks the new soles were separating from the boots. I took them back and their reply was that they were steel toes and they shouldn?t have taken the job. Left the boots with them to be fixed. 2 weeks later I went to pick them up and they were already separating when I went to collect them. The employee didn?t offer to sort it out till I asked what they were going to do because I didn?t want to pay for soles that were already coming off. They took them back and resoled them again. These soles haven?t started to separate but the soles they used are not very durable. The old soles were 7 years old, these ones are about a month old and I have wore through half the tread already. I don?t know if they are better with shoes but I wouldn?t recommend getting your shoes or boot repaired there.

My wife had a watchbattery replaced. Took around five minutes £36.95, Yes £36.95 for the tiniest size battery. That puts the hourly rate at around £700.00.And we had to wait half an hour for her to get around to it. Disgraceful, shocking . Last time it was £3.95 locally.They were a rip-off.

Brought a pewter tankard to Truro (as Falmouth can't engrave tankards). Job done fast... though not square with the handle (roughly 110° instead of 90°), & they'd ripped the tankard box. NOT cheap. Considering the expense, & how this gift was now in a torn box, I'd probably look for an alternative engraver in future.

Amazing service!!! - would highly recommend. Engineer George kept us fully informed of when he would arrive and went over and above to resolve the problems my elderly parents-in-law were experiencing with their locks. He explained the problem and how he had fixed it and all the work is also covered for a year. They are over the moon with the service provided - thank you so much

Had my Battery replaced but unfortunately got home and have mislaid the guarantee for Lifetime replacements. Called the shop and Jez was so helpful in advising that next time in Truro they would do another receipt.Couldn?t have been more helpful. Thank you

I went there today to take passport size photograph for my kid. Before taking the print I told the lady who take the photograph specifically about the dimension of the photo as it is for the passport. But when she printed , it is not the same one. So she had to print another photos. So for just 4 passport size photograph I had to pay £26. She did not even accept that its her mistake to print of the photograph with wrong dimension.. When I asked her regarding this she was rude.. She should be kind at least.. I wont recoment this shop for anyone to take photographs..

I require an orthopedic raise/wedge to be installed in the left heel of every pair of shoes I buy due to a limb length discrepancy. I always go to the Truro Timpson store for this because they do a good job quickly and will assess whether the sole is suitable for alteration before attempting.10/10 service.Good value, great work and fast. (Usually quote me 1/3 weeks compared to NHS which is 6/12 months)

I dashed into the Truro store just 10 minutes before closing for 2 new watch batteries to be fitted.Mel was very welcoming and happy to fit the batteries for me although I said I could come back another day.Such a lovely shop, always welcoming, chatty and proficient, and a great atmosphere.Thank you.Christine.
