We visited whilst on holiday and cannot fault the place. Great pub with a very friendly atmosphere. The Sunday lunch was so delicious the desserts were yummy. The service was spot on and they accommodated our large group without any issues. A fabulous family friendly place.

We went in with no reservation after a days climbing so were very scruffy and hungry. We were greated with big smiles and seated immediately. The wine list was really nice. The staff were lovely. Huge portions of delicious home cooked food including fresh sefood. We thoroughly enjoyed and have been telling everyone since.

Always excellent food - Small country pub, friendly staff, with a good selection of beers. Always try and stop off here when down in Cornwall, it?s worth a visit

Visiting from North Staffordshire and we were recommended The Victory Inn for Sunday Roast and it didn't disappoint ? Simon and his team were incredibly welcoming!!!!! The atmosphere very friendly and relaxed. The Roast dinner was exceptional. Good honest homemade food and great portions at affordable prices ? I mean, the food is ok... though considering the price, very mediocre. Most of it tastes like cheap canned or frozen supermarket stuff, especially the soup and burger. They seem to try and place quantity over quality so I couldn't eat the mountain of mediocre stuff on the plate. Service was pretty slow too. I don't understand all the good reviews of this place, honestly. Wouldn't go back.
