Stopped here for a break in a cycle ride. Had some small plates. Smoked mackerel pate and houmous plates. Both very nice!

Beautiful beer garden, only trouble is they don't look after it. Tables not clean, dinner dishes not collected. Staff in bar on there mobiles, not to busy to clean up.
Saying all that,the real ale was excellent

We went for a meal here. The staff were very friendly and the food was ok. Not a lot of fish in the fish pie apparently but it was tasty. Pudding was small but tasty. Very clean and tidy.

Called in for lunch. There is plenty of variety on the food menu and a variety of real ales,lager, cider, and Guinness. We chose the small fish and chips that came with mushy peas and tartar sauce. It was fabulous and at a bargain price of £10.00. We then followed with ice cream and syrup sponge, which was lovely. Helpful friendly staff too. Small free car park nearby for patrons. All in all, a great lunch.

Excellent service, great food! Check for space or arrive early as it?s not a large venue. Lovely to sit outside and look over the quay.
Have the chicken burger with the quality extra bacon, or the small Fish/Chips if after a lighter lunch!

Enjoyed a meal here after enjoying a long walk in the area. Warm welcome, friendly staff, delicious fresh cooked food. Lovely atmosphere locals and tourists mixing well. We visited between Xmas and New year so bar stock low.

Great lunch, best cheese toasties and soup and an excellent chilli jacket potato with a bonus of being dog friendly.
