Very disappointed with the service. At no point during the purchase was I informed that I would need to show an ID when collecting my online order. I came with my proof of purchase a receipt. Requirements like this should be clearly communicated in advance. If I had known, I would have brought my ID. Poor communication and unhelpful staff made for a frustrating experience.

I wasn?t expecting to feel positive after my brand new Dr Martens (Zebzag Mule) (do not buy) strap broke leaving them totally useless but because of Renee?s unbelievable customer service I actually left smiling and feeling great. She is an absolute asset to your team and if she?s not in charge then she should be. A really positive experience that really took me by surprise. Thanks Renee, you?re the best.

came into the store on thursday the 3rd of july to buy a pair of sandals, was quite torn between two pairs but ended up buying some birkenstocks after the help of liv, who was very patient and helpful, overall very good service and very happy with the shoes! thank you liv and all who helped me :)

Absolutely disgusting service.
Walked in and bought a pair of shoes for what was advertised at £110 to then be told at the till when my husband paid that it was a £145 ( £5 was my choice to have protective spray) when I questioned the price difference a member of staff went over looked at the bottom of the shoe and removed it from the shelf then both members of staff refused to refund the £30 instead insisting that the only thing that I could do was return the shoes and take a full refund. Which I did, leaving the store with no purchase but refusing to be told that I had to pay £30 extra for a pair of shoes then then what?s advertised.

i ended up shopping with Olivia to assist with the shopping today, she was lovely to talk to and was helpful with helping find what i wanted, great shop with friendly staff in a good location.

Couldn?t even buy a pair of shoe laces without poor customer service?due to them not being able to find my schuh club account after asking many repeated questions from 2 members of staff I asked please can I just pay for them and go ? the female staff member then proceeded to chastise me about the way I asked that question! Take your laces back thank you ! Male member of staff then shouted let?s say unkind words at me on my way out ! Disgraceful running of this store ? shopped here many times but NO more !

Ok so I went into the Truro store with my mum.
I don?t know the ladies name who served us, but she was just amazing, customer service on another level.!
She had braided long dark hair and it?s her birthday next week.!
My goodness, what an asset she is to your company.
Management are so lucky to have her working there.

I went yesterday to resolve an issue I had with a shoe I recently purchased. The staff were incredible. So sweet, helpful and knowledgeable. I ended up having a great time running an errands. I don't know their names unfortunately but would love them to get the recognition they deserve - a very friendly lady with children and a caring guy who wore a bandana.

I don?t normally write reviews but I came to your store today and I ended up speaking to three of your staff. They were all so helpful and chatty. I ended up with Renee who was fantastic! So nice and amazing with kids, also understanding the stress of school shoe shopping. Give that lady a rise! She?s awesome

Absolutely awful shop, saved up my wages to buy a pair of Birkenstocks for my birthday, I will never buy shoes from this shop again.
After I got home I tried them on, the lady told me of I'm not happy to bring them back. I still have the receipt (I keep everything on emails!)
I noticed when I got home that my toe kept moving in the shoe, and it wasn't comfortable, my friends came up and they looked at them and they said they look like they've sold you a wide shoe. I was told by the shop that you have to 'Bed' in...
Less than 10 days later as I work full time NHS , I took them back to be confronted by Rachel the deputy manager who has no compassion or remorse she told me, Schuh policy basically no refund , go to CAB or FO. Absolutely disgusted with the response I had from her and the lack of support as a consumer, I would have been happy with a credit note to buy another pair of Birkenstocks that actually fitted! However because I've put my foot in it it's now not possible. I've written to Birkenstock and will most definitely be going to Birkenstock catalogue for my shoes now and not this "shoe shop" . Being treated like a fraud and a liar, and to work 60 hrs a week as a NHS worker to put these shoes in my cupboard.
Oh and contact the self help website who were NO HELP AT ALL..don't bother they will treat you exactly the same! Heartbroken

I don't normally leave reviews but I was really impressed by the staff here - particularly Mitch who helped my daughter with her first pair of school shoes. He was great with my 4 and 2 year olds and they even knew some Makaton for kids who were non-verbal.
